Most Mexicans do not celebrate Thanksgiving, but ...

Hello dear #tradition, #education and #food friends!

...in Mexico often involve sharing what you’re grateful for.

Decorations inspired by autumn, such as leaves, pumpkins and flowers from the region, decorate the tables in Mexican restaurants at this time of year or, as seen in the picture, supermarkets are also decorated.
You may be able to find the typical Thanksgiving ingredients in the larger supermarkets, but there is no guarantee because Mexicans don't actually celebrate this holiday. It is only offered to the Canadian and American tourists. In Canada they celebrate on the second Monday of October (so last week) and in America on November 23.

November.

The supermarket looks very nice with that decoration. In Mexico the festivities are very colorful.

You are right. Everything is a bit more colorful here. The houses here are also painted with great murals. That makes everything much more friendly and beautiful.

Beautiful. In Venezuela we don't celebrate that day either.

My neighbor is also from Venezuela. This summer she was there again. It is also a beautiful country. She showed me many pictures and videos. Hopefully I can also visit it soon.

You will be welcome in this land of friendly and happy people. Despite some calamities, the Venezuelan continues to be a chicharachero. (Jocose in speech)

Generally in the southern countries people are warm, nice, happy, helpful and family friendly. I am happy to live in Mexico and as I said, one day I will definitely visit Venezuela. I practice my Spanish daily on Duolingo.😉

Excellent! You will love Venezuela. It is a beautiful country. Mexico is beautiful too. I have Venezuelan friends there and Mexicans too. You are from Canada?

Nope, from Germany.😃
But I have lived in many different countries . With different cultures, good food and interesting, warm people.
Oh by the way, please don't forget to give my post an up vote.😉
Thank you!

We just celebrated Thanksgiving in Canada, as you mentioned. The festive decorations will continue to grow as Halloween approaches, which is likely insinuated by the scarecrow in the Mexican store display. Those are magnificent pumpkins!

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Now we can use the pumpkins for Halloween. Before that, let's make some good pumpkin soup!😉
