O tema desta semana do Concurso do HiveBR Photo Contest é Sombra. A princípio, achei que esse seria um tema difícil para mim, pois não me lembrava de ter tirado boas fotos com sombras. Então ontem, eu estava sentado no meu quintal, pegando um sol, quando vi essa abelha pousando no chão e decidi tirar algumas fotos. Estava tendo um pouco de dificuldade para conseguir um bom ângulo para usar a macro sem cobrir o sol, mas consegui tirar algumas boas fotos. Só quando fui rever as fotos, vi a sombra da abelha e pensei que essa seria uma boa inscrição para o concurso. Não era minha intenção tirar uma foto com uma sombra, simplesmente aconteceu. Há muitas abelhas aqui e, de vez em quando, uma delas pousa e morre ali mesmo. Acho que é apenas o momento delas, pois se fosse envenenamento, eu provavelmente veria muitas mais. Elas simplesmente pousam e continuam se movendo por um tempo, como se estivessem tentando se levantar. Esta ainda estava viva e se movendo quando tirei as fotos, mas acabou morrendo ali mesmo mais tarde.

This week's theme for the HiveBR Photo Contest is Shadow. At first I thought this was a theme hard for me to get in, as I didn't remember taking any good pictures with shadows. Then yesterday, I was sitting in my backyard, just sunbathing, when I saw this bee landing on the ground and I decided to take some pictures. I was having a little hardtime to get a good angle to use the macro without covering the sun, but was able to get some good pictures. Just when I went to review the pictures, I saw the bee shadow and thought this would be a good entry for the contest. It was not my intention to get a picture with a shadow, it just happened. There are a lot of bees here, and every once in a while, one of them just lands and dies right there. I think it is just their time, as if it was poisoning, I would probably see a lot more. They just land and keep moving for a while, like trying to get back up. This one was still alive and moving around when I took the pictures, but eventually it just died right there a little later.
