Caramoan island hopping

I'm back with just a bit more of my travel stuff. Bear with me just a little more because after all these travel dumps, I'll be back to my artsy self.
So in this blog, I'm gonna be going on about my island hopping trip in Caramoan. That's in Camarines Sur and it's basically the very south end of Luzon. Getting there was literally hell because of the 15 hour drive just going there. Can't say it was the best trip I've went on.. but it was fun if I don't account for the coordinator's presence.

So the trip started at 8pm when the travel van picked us up at Mall of Asia. I don't want to go into details about what happened, but basically the coordinator crammed 14 people into a 12 seater van and expected everyone to be fine with it.

These were after 6 hours of driving and we approached our first rest stop which was a congee place. I didn't have the energy to eat then, because as you can see, your little traveler was sleeping like a baby.

We arrived in Caramoan at around 11am and had this fantastic seafood buffet that I couldn't get a picture of because everyone was tired and hungry and we all just dug right in.
After such a good lunch, everyone was told to change into swimming attire and that we were to start island hopping already. And there's me just being my goofy me! My sister really took lots of photos of me this time because of how much she said she'll miss me. And I admit, I did steal a few candid photos of her because it's gonna be a while until I see her again when she goes back abroad.

It was cool because in some of the islands there were mini jungles in them and we had a lot of fun exploring them.

And there was even this island that had a halo-halo store and we really thought it would be expensive af because it was in an island, after all. But that wasn't t case at all. It was just 35 pesos and it was so damn good. Way better and way cheaper than the shit you could get in manila. And the pinipig was real pinipig! that is so rare now, but I guess they would have time to grow the plant if they lived in such fertile lands.

Then there was also this island that had a lake basin on the other side of this rock wall... and look that, we climbed it just to capture fish to cook for dinner XD
Crazy that we had to catch our own dinner, but it was definitely an interesting experience in itself.
So basically, we got to see 3 islands near the coast of Caramoan. Each of them was just a 15-20 minute boat ride and I think you can even swim some of them if you're a pretty good swimmwer. It was just fun.
We had dinner early with the fish we caught then we had a bit of karaoke fun, but by 8 or 9pm? everyone was already sleeping and knocked out XD Like.. we were all that tired from both the trip and from island hopping, but all in all, it was a day we'll spent ^^

The next day was a lot more chill though. So we started breakfast with more seafood because... what else would you expect from an island?
I've no complaints though. I love seafood! And I have been deprived of seafood for a few weeks now XD

For day 2, pretty girly was the theme and coconuts were definitely a huge part of that day's diet XD

I honestly could not take as many photos as I wanted to because day 2 of this entire trip was basically just snorkeling, crossing islands and so much coconuts XD
The coral ecosystem here is amazing though, not as colorful as the ones in palawan, but it was definitely something!
Then the highlight of that day was this:

The amazing lunch buffet/boodle fight provided by our amazing tour guide. I wished the tour guide could have been the coordinator instead though. The coordinator we had was useless.

Well, that was it for the first 2 days of my Caramoan trip. On the next blog, I'll show you my driving skills XD
This is all from me for now though! I'll see you guys soon! Tank care and thank you so much for stopping by!

Whoa naman sulit na sulit ang gala and bakasyon, and super ganda diyan omg. But 15 hrs isn't a bit too much, sakit wari nyan sa butt, and you didn't get scared traveling at night? But well, maayos naman siguro ang patakbo ni manonh driver no? Nakarating kayo nang matiwasay, nakakain pa nga nang yummy foods. Kakagutom, and with fruits pa. Pang alis umay.

sobrang sulit kaso ubos oras and energy din talaga yung byahe. kung pwede lang eroplano na lang kami kaso sobrang mahal din. Buti na lang masarap makabawi sa pagkain kundi, angdami ki nanaman reklamo sa buhay

A joiner tour to Caramoan is a big no-no given the length of land travel. Lucky for you, you still made it to the island in 15 hours; worst come worst, it will take less than 20. 20 hours in a cramped vehicle! The most common causes of delays are peak-season traffic and blocked roads. Tourism will boost there if they construct express ways; if I'm not mistaken, they have already started building.

they already started road construction so the roads were jagged but the trip was a lot faster than it used to be. And yeah, i regret that joiner thing but since i wasn't the one who paid for the trip, i definitely couldn't complain much to my sister
