Hi everyone, especially those of you in this community. How are you all doing? I'm sure you're all well and healthy. I am very happy to be in this community. On this occasion I would like to share about a plant and some of its photos that I captured while taking a walk in a friend's yard. This plant is a creeping ornamental plant, usually often made into hanging ornamental plants. This plant is known by the scientific name Pellionia repens.
This plant in my area is often called Dragon's Scales or Watermelon Begonia. Watermelon Begonia is planted because the leaves of this plant are similar to patterns that resemble watermelon skin. This plant has jagged leaf edges. With a leaf length of about 2.5 to 10 centimeters and a width of about 2 to 5 centimeters.
This plant includes creeping herbs that can reach about 16 centimeters in height and about 65 centimeters in height. This plant is widely distributed in South China to Indonesia. Especially in primary forests with tropical and subtropical climates. And this plant belongs to a species of flowering plants in the Urticaceae family.
That's a glimpse of this ornamental vine. Hope it's useful and you like it. Thank you very much for everything. See you in the next post. Greetings from me to all of you.
