EARLY MORNING BY THE RIVER

in #hive-1277882 years ago

Although the day was about to get warm and sweltering soon, the early morning was fresh and humid.

The roe deer (Capreolus capreolus) female was grazing surrounded by flowers ...

... on the long stretch of meadow ...

... in between the dense forest and one of the canals of the river Mirna.

I was sitting on the wet grass near my parked car, across the canal from the deer.

The deer was looking in my direction from time to time but didn't run away ...

... so I was able to take plenty of photographs.

I left my house before dawn and drove northwards without a clear idea of where to go. The first stop happened to be a couple of kilometers from the picturesque old town that goes by the name of Motovun.

From there, with a bit of zooming, I could take a good look at the mist in the valley.

I already talked about this part of the journey in the post published this morning, so there isn't much to say about it here.

I took this photograph while driving through the outskirts of Motovun. The scenery looked nice in the early morning light so I stopped by the side of the road.

This pretty long building is a winery.

The place was still closed and the Snowwhite with her bunch of dwarfs was waiting for a daily dose of local wine. The red wine called Teran produced in the area around Motovun is damn good and easy to swallow. After taking this shot I continue driving.

Soon I reached the valley of the river Mirna ...

... stopped by one of its canals and encountered the roe deer that started this post.

When the deer slowly walked away and disappeared in the dense forest ...

... I walked to the river. The river Mirna isn't a large or deep river, but it was considerably larger the last time I saw it. Now, in the summer it looks more like a lovely, but pretty insignificant, narrow stream.

In this wider shot, you can see Motovun on the top of the hill in the background.

Here you can see a bunch of reeds on the bank.

AND THAT'S IT. AS ALWAYS IN THESE POSTS ON HIVE, THE PHOTOGRAPHS ARE MY WORK - THE END.

Did you edit these pictures coz Always i see Ur pictures i always find some different colours....you did some amazing colour grading

I didn't change the grading. The colors in natural light, early in the morning, vary a lot and are pretty different in the sunlit paces and the shade. And things are changing every minute as the sun is going up. That's the story about this post specifically. In other posts - sometimes I use the flash to add a bit of light to the foreground, in that case, the flash gives a warm, yellow tinge. Sometimes I change the White Balance to change a bit how things will look. But in this post specifically, you can see how dynamic the light can be early in the morning.

Crazy.... Thankyou for sharing this brother 😄

Beautiful nature!!!

Very beautiful nature, and the deer is beautiful!
Once we saw three little cubs from the car, they crossed the road for us when we were driving through the forest) Amazing and graceful animals.

Definitively beautiful animals. I never had the opportunity to get close to them, This is I think the closest I got 🙂 and was pretty far.

Those individuals that we saw were not afraid of us at all, so they were right next to our car, and we saw them pretty well ... It’s a pity we didn’t manage to take a picture)

We appreciate your work and your post has been manually curated by zoology team (oscurity, nelinoeva) on behalf of Amazing Nature Community. Keep up the good work!

Thank you 🙂

rare animals in my opinion because in my area there is no captive breeding for animals that are difficult to find in urban areas
