Between sun and rain, with these simple words I can describe my usual Sunday walk, after a good homemade breakfast with the family, we prepared to go out, with the intention of clearing the mind, and forget a little of the daily routine of work and worries, and what better than a good swim at the beach.

For those blessings that life itself gives you, this country and especially this state, is bordered by an extensive coastline and beautiful beaches, with captivating shades of blue, white and green make every corner the perfect image for a postcard.
We take the Troncal 09 (T-09) road from Cumaná - Carúpano, 15 minutes approximately, before arriving to Marigüitar we find "Playa Turpialito", located in the Bolivar Municipality, 10 km from Cumaná, a prodigious beach that is nestled in a small and leafy hamlet of the same name.

It is located within the Gulf of Cariaco. It is a very serene beach, of few waves that configures a calm scenery for the enjoyment of the whole family. Its long extension is crystal clear water, warm, shallow and with a wide strip of coarse sand that massage the feet gently when walking on it.

As our main protagonist a sun with its radiant and energetic rays, whose reflections on the sea looked like luminous stars on the surface of the sea. Without warning we witnessed the formation of dense and dark clouds, which quickly took over the sky and without measure unleashed a tremendous downpour with all the energy, prolonged for almost two continuous hours.

We decided to leave even with the rain and we had to stop to wait for its intensity to decrease, and we took the opportunity to take beautiful pictures and breathe that rich and energizing aroma, to revitalize body and soul.
