"SENNA SURATTENSIS"
°It is a plant species of the legume family (Fabaceae) in the subfamily Caesalpinioideae.
°S. surattensis also known as golden senna or scrambled egg plant.
°S. surattensis is a small tree which is listed as an ‘agricultural weed’, ‘environmental weed’, ‘cultivation escape’, ‘garden thug’, ‘naturalised’ and ‘weed’ in the Global Compendium of Weeds (Randall, 2012).
°Economically, it is a popular ornamental that has been introduced around the world for this reason, with its attractive flowers that bloom throughout the year and tolerance for SO2-polluted air.
