Yes, I know we are already in midsummer, and I am showing spring photos. But spring is so much nicer than summer, and you will not see many, if any, summer shots here. I am officially boycotting it! It is just too damn hot!
These were taken in Polish forest during one of my walks. The fresh green and cool air is just so inviting (and hyperactive insects make sure you are sorry you left the house).
All the buds fattening up and bursting in such a hurry you can almost hear them :p
All the trees, bushes, and grasses turn their speed growth on to manage to grow their fruits and spread the seeds before winter comes. And they only have a few months to do it.
One minute they looks like this 👆
You blink and they look like this 👇
😁
Some of the buds have some sticky coating on them and it looks like the flies take advantage of it. I am guessing this is a **Linden **tree (the two shots above as well).
This would be **Acer **(above and below). Some more advanced are already growing the flowers. Others are just starting to open the leaves. It all depends on where in the woods they grow and how much light they are getting.
I have no clue what this one is. It was growing near the path, and I found it pretty with the green and red together.
And lastly some flowers. Plenty of them on the forest edges. These are called Field Chickweed. Small on tall skinny stems. The flowers are just about 1 cm across, but since they grow in larger groups they are hard to miss.
