These are some nature pictures from me.
Fresh from Costa Rica š.
Wow, you still there? Are you guys on vacation or you fully relocated to the land of Pura Vida? :)
We stayed for 3 weeks here, so we still have a week. Now we're in Hojancha.
Our objective is partly a vacation but partly also to have an overview about the country and the people as well as the possibility for us to live here as a family without a car (yes, we don't drive š).
We can read many things, it's very informative too, but it's still important to have own personal impression to make one own judgement.
We also have an appointment with an acquaintance (a german too) who had migrated here for a while so that we could have more advises and first hand experience stories.
Whether we would move here later, it remains to be seen...but the option is certainly open. I think I like Hojancha and my little girl loves it too.
She feels like home in Costa Rica š.
I see. ThatĀ“s a great idea :) I just looked at the map to see where Hojancha is. So you are close to the Pacific Coast. I havenĀ“t been there, we only stayed on the Caribbean Coast, in the Puerto Viejo area. And it was so beautiful over there! Have you been there? We actually stayed in an Airbnb wooden cottage owned by an amazing Austrian lady who has been living in Costa Rica for decades. It was literally like living in the jungle but at the same time, just a few steps from the sea. We would hear the waves when in the bed and got wake up by the sounds of the howler monkeys in the morning. Unforgettable experience :) Fingers crossed for you guys so that you can make Costa Rica your new home :)
