This post is long overdue. One day, last summer, I was struck with the notion to place a dish of water out for my backyard friends. Grabbing an eight inch Terra Cotta saucer, I placed it out on my patio, and filled it with water. Then, I set up my camera on a tripod and started recording.
I went about my day and left the camera running until the battery died. Having no idea what I might have captured, I eagerly uploaded the video clips and began editing the highlights together. I ended up with a video that was a little over ten minutes long and which I posted to Youtube.
Sparrows are predominantly featured in the video below. However, near the end, a couple of special guests make an appearance. I'll definitely be doing this more. After doing this, I realized I needed a bigger dish. So, I went to the store and bought a twelve inch saucer.
Wherever we are, we are surrounded by nature. It's always trying to communicate with us. Take time to notice. #NoticeNature.
