This (the 360° seeing) is probably similar to what people see outside of their physical human bodies. I read that they see everything around themselves.

Actually we see everything in front ourself…
When we are in our physical human body. But when we are outside of it, then many things are much different. The physical human body has a lot of restrictions, and those are not affecting us, when we are outside of it. That is out-of-body experience (OBE or OOBE). This is common in near-death experiences (NDEs).
