Hello everyone! It feels good to be here again to share my completed work in progress, from the introduction I shared two days ago.
As I shared my introduction, one thing I found comforting was the fact that I wasn’t the only one who does not like repeating one pattern twice. @neumannsalva did mention how easy it may be doing a pattern continuously and I agree with that. I have noticed that I also make fewer mistakes on the second project in the same pattern in comparison to the first one.
I had enough motivation to go ahead and finish my WIP, so I did most of the work the night after I made my post. I got distracted halfway through and left it to attend to something.
By then I had successfully joined the squares to the triangle and everything was in its rightful place. I only needed to add more length to the bralette, make the edges neater and also do the straps. I figured I would be able to complete that the following day.
Since I was too excited about the completion to sleep well at night. The first thing I did the next morning was to pick up where I left off. I started with the bottom part. I think what I found most interesting was the mesh, also they were the fastest to make.
I was confused about the type of straps to make, after thinking for a while I decided to do a long change and double crochet on the chain I made. It was tiring working the double crochet after making the chain but I was more interested in finishing the project, so I just kept going.
I made the edges neater while making the straps on one side, so I followed through and did the same on the other side. Afterwards, the top was pretty much complete. I just say I do love how the colours blend.
Here’s the final look, I hope you love it as much as I do.
Thank you for stopping by❤️
