Hoy les vengo a saludar con estas hermosas flores en nombre del amor y la amistad que nos une desde hace 7 años. Estamos en el mes de febrero y es el mes de donde el amor esta por doquier y yo ¡como siempre! ¡Me declaro enamorada del amor y defensora incansable de los enamorados!

El amor está en todas partes, se siente, se respira, se ve en cada una de nuestras acciones. ¿Acaso no lo ves? ¡Mira por tu ventana y veras el amor de Dios, mira tus hijos y allí encontraras amor, mira a tus amigos y de seguro allí tambien encontraras amor!
Love is everywhere, you feel it, you breathe it, you see it in each of our actions, don't you see it, look out your window and you will see God's love, look at your children and there you will find love, look at your friends and for sure there you will find love too!
Hoy para celebrar el mes del amor he preparado una publicación especial con unas flores de organza para ponerle un poco de alegría a mi blog. Estas flores las realicé la semana pasada junto a mi sobrina Yenni quien se dedica a la decoración de fiestas en Caracas. Ella es toda una artista en la materia y entre más la conozco más me doy cuenta cuanto se parece a mí o viceversa.
Today to celebrate the month of love I have prepared a special post with some organza flowers to add some joy to my blog. I made these flowers last week with my niece Yenni who is a party decorator in Caracas. She is a real artist and the more I get to know her the more I realize how much she resembles me or inversely.
Ella quería hacerlas flores para fiesta de cumpleaños de su hija quien pero además de eso hacer un trabajo bonito y duradero que le sirviera para decorar en fiestas futuras.
Yo admiro a Yenni porque sus trabajos se salen de lo común y siempre está en la búsqueda de ideas nuevas, siempre quiere renovarse y así mantener a sus clientes felices.
She wanted to make flowers for her daughter's birthday party but she also wanted to make a beautiful and long lasting work that she could use for future parties.
I admire Yenni because her work is out of the ordinary and she is always looking for new ideas, she always wants to renew herself and keep her clients happy.
Hoy les voy a explicar un poco de como las hicimos, delos materiales que utilizamos y tambien un poco de los costos al realizarlas.
Materiales:
- Tela de organza
- Alambre dulce o de ferretería
- Silicón en barra y silicón liquido
- Esferas de anime o pelotas
- Pega blanca
- Escarcha
- Cautín o cauterizador para tela
- Tijeras
- Pintura dorada
- Flórate
- Patrón hojas flor
Today I am going to explain a little bit about how we made them, the materials we used and also a little bit about the costs to make them.
Materials:
- Organza fabric
- Sweet wire or hardware store wire
- Silicone sticks or liquid silicone
- Anime spheres or balls
- White glue
- Frosting
- Soldering iron or fabric cautery
- Scissors
- Gold paint
- Flórate
- Flower leaf pattern
Paso a paso
Yo hice dos patrones de hojas, todo depende del tamaño que quieras manejar o si la quieres más frondosa puedes hacer hasta tres tamaños de hoja para que se vea más grande.
Con la ayuda de un cautín vamos cortando la tela sobre una tabla de madera con mucho cuidado para que no haya accidentes que lamentar. Yo lo hice con un cautín pero si no tienes puedes utilizar la tijera y pasar el borde del pétalo por una vela.
Step by step
- I made two leaf patterns, it all depends on the size you want to handle or if you want it more leafy you can make up to three leaf sizes to make it look bigger.
- With the help of a soldering iron we cut the fabric on a wooden board very carefully so that there are no accidents to regret. I did it with a soldering iron but if you don't have one you can use the scissors and pass the edge of the petal through a candle.
- La técnica de pegar el alambre es sencillo pero es más rápido si se tiene un pote de silicón grande ya que se sumerge el alambre, se escurre y se pega.
- The technique of gluing the wire is simple but it is faster if you have a large pot of silicone because the wire is submerged, drained and glued.
Con unas pelotas que utilizamos de centro las pintamos, le regamos escarcha y dejamos secar para luego colocarle los pétalos.
La opción de colocarle luces al centro de la flor es a tu gusto, pero de verdad quedan hermosas.
- With some balls that we use as a center we paint them, sprinkle frost and let them dry and then place the petals.
- The option of placing lights in the center of the flower is up to you, but they are really beautiful.
Estas flores realmente son costosas, ahora entiendo porque en el mercado se venden 3 por 25 dólares, pero cuando es para un negocio como el de mi sobrina creo que vale la pena hacer el gasto, ya que ella les sacara provecho una y otra vez.
En una semana ya las ha utilizado para unos quince años y un matrimonio y el próximo sábado las utilizara en el cumpleaños de mí su hija.
These flowers are really expensive, now I understand why in the market 3 are sold for 25 dollars, but when it is for a business like my niece's I think it is worth the expense, since she will take advantage of them again and again.
In one week she has already used them for a quinceañera and a wedding and next Saturday she will use them for her daughter's birthday.
Yo me quedo con la satisfacción de haberla ayudado y haber aprendido. Además de haber compartido dos días con ellos.
En total hicimos doce flores de todos colores, en realidad la tela de organza en muy bonita y el brillo que trae la tela hace buena parte del trabajo.
I am left with the satisfaction of having helped her and having learned. Besides having shared two days with them.
In total we made twelve flowers of all colors, actually the organza fabric is very nice and the brightness that brings the fabric makes a good part of the work.
