#needlework
I finally got to share this with you all here and I am so so excited. Hello there and welcome to another blog post by Doreen where I show the crochet pieces I make from scratch.
It's been so long since I made anything for a baby or toddler so yesh this was fun. Initial plan was to make feminine and gift it to a baby girl but I honestly don't remember why I changed my mind and left it unisex as it is now
I was experimenting two things first thing was if my yarn was going to be enough to complete the entire project since I had no intention of mixing color or making it a gradient based design like I usually do with the rest and well that turned out pretty nice because I had left over yarn, not so much but it was enough.
Second thing I was experimenting is if the stitches will come out bold, well they did, at least the way I wanted the stitches to look is what I got. When I was making this I had no kid in mind.
Like there was no particular person I was making it for. I just knew I was going to give it to a child but it was not clear to me. At least not at the time
Blue was nice,I have not made anything blue in a while.
Back to the story. My friend came to my shop with her baby and a thought came to me “Where's the blue mesh top” I went inside to search for it and there it was sitting pretty, literally.
I grabbed it and asked her to try it on Mun min (it's not his original name I just call him that he's cute so yeah) and it.
Was a perfect size, it was tight at all and I told her yeah it's for him.
I'm still wondering how I knew to make his size and length perfect because I didn't measure it at al just made random chains. Well it still remains a mystery till this moment, but then whattttttt.
After he tried it on he was so giddy I was just wondering he's barely understanding us right now so does he even know what is going on here? From the looks of things he clearly didn't need a full understanding of the situation. He was just happy either way.
I asked his mom if it was okay to take a picture and when she said yes, ahh you all know the drill. I took att the pictures I could take in that moment.
And he wasn't steady so explains the blur ones. But yeah I got a glimpse of it all. Ladies and gentlemen
I present to you all my cute Mun Mun and his mesh cover top
Things I used to make this:
