Hello, needleworker, fashionistas, seamstress here and everyone in the community #Needleworkmonday. Hope you are all good .
Today i am goin to show you how i made this new flap and Pocket with embroidery thread . I will be displaying how i got it done, the fabric that i use to make it, and the measurement of the full dress.
- I cut out part of the fabric for pocket and the flap
- I added gum stay to it to make it stand and pressed with pressing iron.
- I needed to to draw ✍️ the pattern at the back (on the gumstay of the flap and pocket )
In making this design, we will need a phonix thread (embroidery thread) . I rolled thread in like 12 places to make it thick, and i reeled into reeler and put into the bobbing and passed into the machine to serve as under thread 🧵.
To make the design, i faced the fabric down while the gumstay facing up then trace all the i.e the pattern .
