Saludos querida comunidad, hace unos días les compartí el amigurumi con forma de Sullivan, el personaje de la película Monster Inc. , como le dije la idea es hacer a los personajes principales, así que es el turno de Mike, el compañero de trabajo y amigo de Sullivan, estos dos personajes cumplen con arquetipos muy comunes, Sullivan es el tipo grande y fuerte, pero que es tierno y toma un rol paternal cuando salva a la niña de la película, en cambio Mike es el tipo de estatura baja, con una energía contagiarte, entusiasta y además es el único que tiene novia y siempre trata de ser un galante con ella. En cuanto a la forma es parecido a una pelota con patas, esto lo hace parecer tierno y por eso no pudo desarrollar su carrera de asustador, su forma simple pero cualquier mínimo detalle hace la diferencia, por eso la proporción de los pies, el largo de los brazos, el tamaño de los cuernos o incluso el tamaño de su único ojo , es realmente importante para lograr el parecido al personaje, me esforcé en cuidar cada detalle. Hace unos años compartí un Mike pero los materiales que use eran diferentes y el tamaño era mucho mayor, porque lo que este que les presento hoy es un tercio del tamaño del de aquel entonces y por lo tanto es un reto para mi 😊

As for the shape, it is similar to a ball with legs, this makes it look cute and that is why it could not develop its scarer career, its simple shape but any small detail makes a difference, that is why the proportion of the feet, the length From the arms, the size of the horns or even the size of its only eye, it is really important to achieve the resemblance to the character, I tried to take care of every detail. A few years ago I shared a Mike but the materials I used were different and the size was much larger, because what I am presenting to you today is a third of the size of the one from back then and therefore it is a challenge for me 😊
Proceso / Process
Comencé por los pies, haciendo cada dedo con 4 puntos bajos en un anillo, al unir los tres dedos continué haciendo disminuciones hasta obtener el talón. Luego levanté 6 puntos bajos para la pierna por 8 hileras. Hice las dos piernas iguales.
I started with the feet, making each finger with 4 single crochets in a ring, joining the three fingers I continued decreasing until I reached the heel. Then I picked up 6 single crochet for the leg for 8 rows. I made both legs the same.
El cuerpo no es completamente esférico, es ovalado, por lo que comencé de forma circular pero al obtener la altura deseada comencé las disminuciones alternado hileras sin disminuciones para terminar en forma de óvalo.

Procuré hacer los dedos de las manos delgados y largos, al unirlos continué la mano con 8 puntos bajos, disminuyendo hasta 6 puntos bajos para hacer el brazo de 9 hileras. Al terminar rellené y cosí tanto los brazos como las piernas.
I tried to make the fingers thin and long, by joining them I continued the hand with 8 single crochet, decreasing to 6 single crochet to make the arm with 9 rows. When I finished I filled and sewed both the arms and the legs.
Para los ojos comencé con 6 puntos bajos en un anillo con hilo negro, luego cambié a hilo azul e hice 6 aumentos, cambié a hilo blanco e hice 6 aumentos, continué una hilera con blanco y luego con verde haciendo aumentos para el párpado superior. Hice los cuernos con hilo gris y luego bordé la boca con los dientes.
For the eyes I started with 6 single crochets in a ring with black thread, then I changed to blue thread and made 6 increases, I changed to white thread and made 6 increases, I continued a row with white and then with green making increases for the upper eyelid. I made the horns with gray thread and then I embroidered the mouth with the teeth.
