Saludos querida comunidad, el día de hoy les comparto el resultado de un proyecto en el que he estado trabajando las últimas dos semanas, se trata de un amigurumi con forma de pavo real.
Greetings dear community, today I share with you the result of a project I have been working on for the last two weeks, it is an amigurumi in the shape of a peacock.
El motivo de realización de este amigurumi fue la solicitud de un patrón de este animal por parte de una persona en mis redes sociales, aun no escribo en la computadora todo el patrón específico y espero que a ellos les haya convencido mi diseño y decidan comprar el patrón, sin embargo, para mi cada amigurumi es un reto personal y este en específico me tomo bastante tiempo, siento que con cada nueva figura que hago obtengo nuevos aprendizajes y aunque termino con cansancio y gran dolor en mis manos, la satisfacción personal es lo que llena mí espíritu y me anima a seguir adelante con mis creaciones.
The reason for making this amigurumi was the request for a pattern of this animal by a person on my social networks, I still have not written the entire specific pattern on the computer and I hope that they have been convinced by my design and decide to buy the pattern, however, for me each amigurumi is a personal challenge and this one in particular took me a long time, I feel that with each new figure I make I get new learning and although I end up with fatigue and great pain in my hands, personal satisfaction is what that fills my spirit and encourages me to continue with my creations.
Este pavo real está elaborado completamente con hilo acrílico de 1mm de espesor y con ganchillo # 4 (1.25 mm) esto quiere decir que tamaño de la puntada es muy pequeño y por eso requirió más trabajo, pero al ser la puntada más pequeña me permite que los detalles sean más delicados y fieles a la proporción que tengo en mente, gracias a eso el pico quedó puntiagudo y las patas quedaron del tamaño que yo deseaba, por otro lado la idea era hacer una imagen un poco tierna o caricaturizada del pavo real pero que aún conservara elementos realistas, por lo que siempre tuve en mente la imagen del pavo real de verdad pero para guardar el equilibrio del cuerpo con respecto a la cola decidí hacerlo sentado, pero el pavo real nunca abre la cola estando sentado o en posición de descanso, eso lo pude observar en mi resiente visita a la residencia de mi amiga @Yetsimar, en donde hay una pareja de pavos reales, por cierto aunque yo sabía que sólo los machos tienen la cola de esos colores, nunca imaginé que la diferencia de colores con el pavo hembra fuera tan grande, así que obviamente mi amigurumi es macho.
This peacock is made entirely with 1mm thick acrylic yarn and with a #4 (1.25mm) crochet hook, this means that the stitch size is very small and therefore required more work, but being the smallest stitch allows me to the details are more delicate and faithful to the proportion that I have in mind, thanks to that the beak was pointed and the legs were the size that I wanted, on the other hand the idea was to make a slightly tender or caricatured image of the peacock but that it still retain realistic elements, so I always had in mind the image of the real peacock but to keep the balance of the body with respect to the tail I decided to make it sitting, but the peacock never opens its tail while sitting or in a position of break, I was able to observe that on my recent visit to my friend @Yetsimar's residence, where there is a couple of peacocks, by the way, although I knew that only the males have tails of those colors, I never imagined I didn't think the color difference with the female turkey was so big, so obviously my amigurumi is male.

Este pavo real mide 20 cm por lo que la cola debía ser muy amplia, el esta invertí la mayoría del tiempo de ejecución debido al tipo de puntada, me sentí muy bien cuando hice el ensamblaje final del amigurumi y que todo encajara según mi esquema.
This peacock measures 20 cm so the tail had to be very wide, I spent most of the execution time on this one due to the type of stitch, I felt very good when I made the final assembly of the amigurumi and that everything fit according to my scheme.
Hacer proyectos como estos toma su tiempo y debido a los inconvenientes médicos con mi hijo llevo más tiempo de lo esperado, pero estoy satisfecha y emocionada, hacia un buen tiempo que no hacía un amigurumi de un animal y no de un personaje, espero les guste
Making projects like these takes time and due to medical problems with my son it took longer than expected, but I am satisfied and excited, it's been a long time since I made an amigurumi of an animal and not of a character, I hope you like it
