Saludos querida comunidad, espero estén todos muy bien y les deseo lo mejor en sus proyectos de aguja , esta semana ha sido muy ocupada para mi porque no quería descansar hasta ver finalizado el proyecto, pues este es el segundo amigurumi que me encargó @damarysvibra y con el cual me sentí muy comprometida por obtener el mejor resultado, se trata del personaje Chilli Heeler, la cual es la madre en la serie animada de una familia de perros conocida por el nombre de su hija Bluey.
Greetings dear community, I hope you are all very well and I wish you the best in your needle projects, this week has been very busy for me because I did not want to rest until I finished the project, because this is the second amigurumi that @damarysvibra commissioned me and With which I felt very committed to obtain the best result, it is the character Chilli Heeler, who is the mother in the animated series of a family of dogs known by the name of her daughter Bluey.
Conocer este personaje fue muy interesante, en primer lugar cuando vi la imagen de referencia me preocupaba conseguir los tonos adecuados de hilo, porque obviamente los hilos vienen en colores estandarizados y toca adaptarse a disponibilidad, estuve viendo bajo que tonalidades estaba el color del perro, si era análogo con el amarillo, los naranjas o el beige, era difícil, me preocupaba que usar un color de hilo que no se acercara lo suficiente al color del dibujo fuese a cambiar por completo la imagen del amigurumi, es decir que no se parecería al personaje, fui al mercado de hilo y fue gracioso porque tuve que sacar mi teléfono ver la imagen e ir comparando con los colores de los ovillos , mientras el señor vendedor esperaba. Luego de estar satisfecha con los colores, investigué un poco acerca del personaje aprendí que es una raza de perros pastores australianos de los cuales hay dos tonalidades de pelaje, los negros que al tener también una capa de pelo blanco se terminan viendo azules, allí entendí por qué el color azul del esposo y de la hija protagonista de la serie, pero también entendí que los otros perros como Chilli son llamados Orange Heeler o también Red Heeler , es decir que a la raza le ponen el nombre de naranja por la combinación de su pelaje, así que me sentí bien de haber utilizado un hilo que se acercara más al naranja que al amarillo, me pareció increíble que la raza resultó de un cruce de perro pastores con dingos , eso me dejó con la boca abierta.
Getting to know this character was very interesting, first of all when I saw the reference image I was worried about getting the right shades of thread, because obviously the threads come in standardized colors and it has to be adapted according to availability, I was seeing what shades the color of the dog was under, if it was analogous with yellow, orange or beige, it was difficult, I was worried that using a thread color that was not close enough to the color of the drawing would completely change the image of the amigurumi, that is to say that it would not look similar to the character, I went to the yarn market and it was funny because I had to take out my phone to see the image and compare with the colors of the balls, while the seller waited. After being satisfied with the colors, I did some research about the character, I learned that it is a breed of Australian shepherd dogs of which there are two shades of fur, the black ones that also have a coat of white hair that end up looking blue, there I understood why the blue color of the husband and the protagonist daughter of the series, but I also understood that the other dogs like Chilli are called Orange Heeler or also Red Heeler, that is to say that they give the breed the name of orange due to the combination of his coat, so I felt good that I used a thread that was closer to orange than yellow, I found it incredible that the breed resulted from a cross between a sheepdog and a dingo, that blew my mind.
Todo parecía marchar bien con los colores, así que empecé a hacer el cuerpo de Chilli, pero pasó lo que conté en la publicación pasada 🤭 “me comí” una puntada, lo que mi naturaleza obsesiva con el crochet no podía aceptar, así que desarmé y volví a empezar desde allí, lo que me atrasó bastante pero yo estaba feliz de obtener el resultado correcto, por tal motivo tarde 3 días solo haciendo el cuerpo 😂
Everything seemed to be going well with the colors, so I started making Chilli's body, but what happened in the last post happened 🤭 I “ate” a stitch, which my crochet obsessive nature couldn't accept, so I disassembled and I started again from there, which slowed me down a lot but I was happy to get the right result, for that reason it took me 3 days just doing the body 😂
Luego hice las patas, debo decir que esta parte me encantó porque pude introducir alambre por dentro, así las patas se pueden doblar y colocar en diferentes poses.
Then I made the legs, I must say that I loved this part because I was able to introduce wire inside, so the legs can be bent and placed in different poses.
Igualmente en la cola incluí alambre por dentro, para que esta se pueda doblar, los detalles de la orejas puntiagudas me encantó, para eso trabaje con hilo color marrón y beige. Los detalles los hice en color crema al igual que el hocico, aunque este color tiende un poco al amarillo claro.
Also in the tail I included wire inside, so that it can be bent, I loved the details of the pointed ears, for that I worked with brown and beige thread. I made the details in cream, like the muzzle, although this color tends a bit to light yellow.
Realmente estoy muy feliz de haber cumplido la meta de Chilli en 6 días, pues aunque no lo parezca cada detalle es importante. Estoy muy agradecida por la oportunidad de hacer este personaje y espero lo disfruten mucho.
