Greetings dear community, happy
#needleworkmonday, today is a special day because I come to share an achievement of my nephew, who, like my son, has become interested in learning crochet, however, even though he comes to my house often, almost It's always rushed and sometimes when he stays he spends too much time on his cell phone, that's why although he started this amugurumi project in April, he hadn't finished it, I thought he would abandon it completely, but a few days ago he He came to my house and said he wanted to continue and I gave him instructions to continue.
These are difficult times and my sister has two jobs, my nephew spends half the day accompanying my sister to her other job and the other half of the day at school, it is complicated and I understand that for some children it is difficult to deal with certain circumstances , that's why I waited for him to show interest in crochet again and that's how it happened, he said he wanted to finish making the whale to give it to his parents for Christmas, this seemed very cute to me.
My nephew is 9 years old and has a good learning capacity, but apparently he loses interest for a while and then comes back. He has a different personality than my son, so I don't compare him. I applaud his achievement. It fills me with emotion that he has finished the whale and that I have returned to practicing crochet, this fills me with satisfaction and makes me feel that it is worth teaching this beautiful art of needles and threads to children.
