Greetings dear community, today is Monday and I was looking forward to this day, to be able to share with you a macramé bracelet that I made to give to my favorite lioness @tsunsica, the reason is that my friend participated for a whole month in the Leo Finance campaign She worked very hard, it was inspiring to see her publish daily and participate in different challenges of the campaign, so much so that she was in 4th place, although I was able to know up close how hard she worked, she is the winner, I did not want to publish the bracelet until to be able to give it to her in person, so last Thursday I had the opportunity to see her at the Hive Talk University that was held at the university where we both graduated from the School of Plastic Arts, in the capital of my state Lara, in Venezuela.

Yo participé en ese evento en calidad de invitada para dar testimonio acerca de mi trayectoria de 5 años en Hive, me hizo muy feliz ver a mis amigos, entre estos @tsunsica que es como una tía o madrina para mi hijo, ella siempre es la compañera de juegos perfecta para mi hijo porque ambos son muy enérgicos, pero como ella andaba tan ocupada siendo host del evento mi hijo andaba ayudándole en lo que podía, porque siempre el quiere estar cerca de ella.

I participated in that event as a guest to testify about my 5-year career at Hive, that made me happiest for seeing my friends, including @tsunsica who is like an aunt or godmother to my son, she is always the perfect playmate for my son because they are both very energetic, but since she was so busy hosting the event, my son was helping him where he could, because he always wants to be close to her.

2021/2022/2023

El cumpleaños de mi amiga es en el mismo mes de agosto que el de mi hijo, pero con una diferencia de días que hace que tengan signos zodiacales diferentes, hice el brazalete con la figura de un león no solo para celebrar el éxito de mi amiga en la campaña de Leo Finance, sino también porque ella es signo Leo, así que tiene un doble significado. Fue lindo además ver que ella usara el brazalete durante todo el evento de ese día.

My friend's birthday is in the same month of August as my son's, but with a difference of days that make them have different zodiac signs, I made the bracelet with the figure of a lion not only to celebrate my friend's success in the Leo Finance campaign, but also because she is a Leo sign, so it has a double meaning. It was also nice to see her wear the bracelet throughout the event that day.

Proceso / Process

Para la realización de este brazalete, primero hice el respectivo gráfico en papel milimétrico, delineando con lápiz grafito la figura del león y las letras, además del borde que delimita el número de hilos guía. Usé hilo acrílico para crochet de los colores negro para el fondo, un color parecido al naranja para las letras y melena del león, amarillo claro para la cara, blanco para el hocico y solo una hebra de rosado claro para la nariz del león.

To make this bracelet, I first made the respective graph on millimeter paper, outlining the figure of the lion and the letters with a graphite pencil, as well as the border that delimits the number of guide wires. I used acrylic crochet yarn in the colors black for the background, a color similar to orange for the letters and mane of the lion, light yellow for the face, white for the muzzle and just a strand of light pink for the lion's nose.

Corté 6 hebras de 60 cm, 1 de 80cm y 1 la deje pegada al ovillo. Coloqué las hebras largas en los bordes, a la mitad hice 20 nudos planos para envolver a las hebras del centro. Luego doblé en forma de “U” y coloqué nuevamente en el clip de la tabla, quedando así las hebras guía y la hebra pegada al ovillo que se usa para hacer los nudos. Hice 14 hileras de nudos simples.

I cut 6 strands of 60 cm, 1 of 80cm and 1 left it attached to the ball. I placed the long strands on the edges, in the middle I made 20 flat knots to wrap around the center strands. Then I folded in a "U" shape and placed it back on the clip on the table, thus leaving the guide threads and the thread attached to the ball that is used to make the knots. I made 14 rows of overhand knots.

A partir de hilera 15 añadí la hebras de color por detrás para hacer los nudos del color que corresponden según el gráfico. Luego que terminé la ultima letra, hice 14 hileras de nudos con el hilo negro al igual que al principio.

From row 15 onwards I added the colored threads on the back to make the knots of the color that correspond to the graph. After I finished the last letter, I made 14 rows of knots with the black thread just like at the beginning.

Para finalizar, dividí la hebras en dos partes e hice dos trenzas, anudando el final.

To finish, I divided the strands into two parts and made two braids, knotting the end.

Resultado / Result

Me siento feliz por el resultado, además que logré mi objetivo el cual era sorprender a mi amiga @tsunsica con el brazalete 🥰

I am happy with the result, besides that I achieved my goal, which was to surprise my friend @tsunsica with the bracelet 🥰
