Saludos querida comunidad, feliz NeedleWorkMonday, aunque las razones de mi publicación de hoy no es algo para celebrar estoy feliz de poder desahogarme con ustedes, hace unos días mi hermana trajo un vestido de ella para que yo le hiciera unas modificaciones, la primero era cortar el vestido para hacerlo un poco menos largo, también me pidió que con la tela le hiciera unos tirantes más anchos al vestido, ella fue escogida como la madrina de promoción del colegio donde trabaja y me dijo que quería usar ese vestido porque solo lo ha usado una vez y no estaba satisfecha de esos detalles.

Hoy le corté unos centímetros al vestido y de inmediato noté que esta es una tela muy delicada, no se el nombre especifico de la tela porque como saben yo soy solo una aficionada, sin embargo, para evitar cualquier problema como siempre aseguré el borde con alfileres.

Cuando fui a utilizar la maquina de coser de inmediato comenzó mi sufrimiento, como les conste en ocasiones pasadas mi máquina siempre ha dado problemas y la última vez que el técnico la reparó fue muy difícil graduar la tensión del hilo, me sorprendió ver que de nuevo la maquina presenta las mismas fallas que había tenido desde nueva, es decir cose unos centímetros bien y unos centímetros mal de forma consecutiva y no hay manera de que yo logre repararla, el técnico me dijo aquella vez que no moviera la palanca de tensión pero yo aun sin moverla, la maquina vuelve a lo mismo, me siento completamente derrotada y creo que la única solución es vender la maquina y deshacerme de ese estrés. Tuve que deshacer la costura con mucho temor de que la tela se dañara.
When I went to use the sewing machine my suffering immediately began, as you know on past occasions my machine has always had problems and the last time the technician repaired it it was very difficult to adjust the tension of the thread, I was surprised to see that again the machine presents the same faults that it had had since new, that is, it sews a few centimeters well and a few centimeters incorrectly consecutively and there is no way that I can repair it, the technician told me that time not to move the tension lever but I even without moving it, the machine returns to the same, I feel completely defeated and I think that the only solution is to sell the machine and get rid of that stress. I had to undo the stitching in great fear that the fabric would be damaged.
No tuve otra opción que como en tiempos anteriores coser a mano, mis puntadas de costura no salía tan derecha porque es una tela muy difícil, incluso se le abren huecos fácilmente y se deshilacha, por lo que tuve que hacer una puntada un poco ancha para mi gusto y además no apretar tanto la tela porque se arrucha.
I had no choice but to sew by hand, as in previous times, my sewing stitches did not come out so straight because it is a very difficult fabric, even holes open easily and it frays, so I had to make a slightly wide stitch to my taste and also not to tighten the fabric so much because it crumples.
Incumplí con mi hermana, no le hice los tirantes anchos al vestido porque haciéndolo a mano se notaria mucho la costura, por lo que me siento muy insatisfecha con la situación, no se si mi hermana esté dispuesta a volver a utilizar dicho vestido con el ese borde cosido a mano 😔
I did not comply with my sister, I did not make the wide straps to the dress because doing it by hand would make the seam very noticeable, so I feel very dissatisfied with the situation, I do not know if my sister is willing to use said dress again with that hand stitched edge 😔
