Today I want to share my needlework post on how I sew this two front seat of a mini bus.
The seat before was so bad in a way the owner was afraid if the seat can come out neat again but I assure him not to be afraid is my work. Here was the seat before
Comparing the seat now and before how do you see it??
How I get this particular work
In my area mini bus is a car use for public transportation, the is on of my customer I work on his mini bus seat and the seat was something else because this public driver don't like working on their seat at the right time complaining the is not money and the will not be able to stay back from work because the will not have food to eat and because of this the drive the seat till everything thing cut out and when customer start complaining the cannot seat on it again the bring it to us to work for them.
So after work on his seat it come out so neat and it was supprise so when this new guy saw the work he ask him where he did it and he directed him to me.
I was just at my shop and he came telling me he was directed my a friend to come meet me. So he now show me is own seat and I accepted to work for him.
To work on this seat took me just 4 hours because to sew the seat is just nothing to me.
Let me show you the process I took
Firstly I loose the seat out with the help of my working tools and the separate them for easy measurement and upholstery.
Since the both seat are the same I use one for measurement by using my sewing tape to measure the vertical and the horizontal length of each joining.
I am using a black leather to sew the seat.
I then transfer the measurement to my leather and cut them out.
And shape it to form the new pattern.
After that I then place the pattern on a roof material and gum it together to make it smooth and stronger
Then cut them out for sewing.
I now use my sewing machine to join them together carefully.
After sewing it I now take time to replace form at where it was cut off and then gum it strong to make sure the shape comes out neat so that when I cover my new seat cover it will be smooth.
So I finally wear the new seat cover to the seat and I achieve this at the end.
At least now his customer will not complain the seat again and it look much better now. And the guy him self was so happy to see the finish work look beautiful than he expected.
That is all. Thanks so much for going through I love you all
