Greetings everyone

Happy new year my co-needlework friends, how are you all doing today? I hope you all are doing good. I pray may this 2025 be good to everyone of us. Amen. I am very happy happy to see 2025 and also happy to see you all in 2025, We finally make it, congratulations to everyone.
Today i am very happy to write a post in this community in wish i will be sharing my first needlework project for 2025, indeed it started well although i supposed to give my self a rest but i have no option.

This very project was a project i suppose to do since last year but due to so much work i choose to prolong it it till next year. The owner of this project really believe in me that is why He was patience with me because He knows i always do the best wirh a quality material. If it was some other person he will take it to another person so because of this trust i have to try my best to make sure to deliver the project for him.

It actually a Lexus car seat and i was to do only the two front seat for him since i have already did the back side last year.
I started this project yesterday being 2rd January 2025 and i was able to complete it today and i choose to share it with you guys here.

This is my handwork and i love sharing it with others to see what i can do.
Due to because this very work was urgent i did not have enough time to take the photos of the steps i follow but i will love to breake down some of the steps and use the available photos to have. Thanks hope to learn from me.

Let get started

The first thing i consider is to get the new leather that match with the interior of the car, then loss the seat from the car to my shop.
Lose the back seat from the main seat with the help of spanners just to have access to the hidden portion of the seat.

I then take the measurements of each patttern and transfer it to the new leather and cut it out with the help of scissors.

I then remove the old pattern and place on the new cut leather to get the new pattern ready.
To make it stronger and smoother, I place the pattern on a roof material and then gum it together

and then cut it out.

I then use a sewing machine to sew those pattern carefully together has it was mark.

After sewing the seat cover, I then use clips and clip it to the form frame.

Here is the seat after clipping.

I then tight it together has it was and finally the seat is ready to be used.

Thanks everyone for your time, hope this was simple steps to follow up. You comment and support is needed.
Happy new year.
