Warm greetings.

Happy and blessed Monday and happy new week to you and all of my colleagues in the @needleworkmonday community, how was your weekend? I hope everything goes perfectly fine and you and your families are doing great, it is an honor to see you today and share with you all my weekend work, which I was able to complete my work to make a senator shirt and trousers for my boy.

I'm so excited about being able to complete this work that I have kept for weeks now, well, sometimes sewing a baby dress makes me feel somehow, but since I promised to sew a senator dress for them I didn't have any other choice than to fulfill the promise, I posted the first one I sewed for his brother which was an only shirt but I firstly cut out this small one with trouser then I feel somehow so I decided to keep it and start with the shírt only, so during this weekend I didn't have many things to do so I decided to complete the dress.

The procedure.

I started with the trousers, by folding the material in two, I measured his waist and divided it by four and I put 1.5 inches for sewing allowance, then I took the crotch length with the full too, then I used the waist measurement with the allowance and put in another 1.5 for the crotch curve and I cut it out.

After cutting out the front I fold the material again and place the front trousers on it, I put in 2 2-inch allowances for the back crotch length then I put in a 1.5-inch allowance for the body sewing allowance then I cut it out.

After that I went ahead and joined the front trousers together then I joined the back too, then I joined the front and the back together, I bent the waistband and put elastic on it.

Then I bend the down hem of the trousers and the outcome is very nice.

After finishing with the trousers I went ahead with the senator shirt, I folded the material by two, I took the normal length, the shoulder divided by two, I divided the body by four, and I put in a 4-inch allowance then I cut it out, I went to the sewing machine and bend the front buttons parts and I iron them out.

I now went and cut out the back part.

After cutting out the back part, I then cut out the back turning band, then I went ahead and sewed it down on the backside.

After finishing with the back side I went and joined the shoulder together and the body too, then I cut out the sleeves and joined on the dress.

After that I cut out 1.5 widths of the material and piped the neck part then I bend the hem of the dress and put in the shirt buttons.

So here is the outcome of the shirts and trousers

The outcome came out successful and nice, and my sister-in-law was so happy seeing it I was so happy that I was able to make them for her children despite the material wasn't enough for me to sew trousers for the first people, but I did great.

Thank you so much friends for visiting my blog

He is such a cute baby and the outfits looks pretty on him.

Thanks so much. I really appreciate your comment

Te quedó muy bonito, además de que el modelo la luce muy bien. Es lindo coser ropa de niño. También bien hago ese tipo de pantalones cortos a mis nietos y a ellos les encanta. Saludos y bendiciones
