Hello Needleworkers.
My sweet loving and caring peoples in the @needleworkmonday community, happy and blissful day to you all, how are you enjoying? Hope everything went very well with you all, today i will he sharing with you all on my 2025 Cradle of Comfort, which I'm still moving forward with my sewing projects, i will also share the steps on how i cut and sew.
I'm so excited for the ability and another opportunity that God gave to me to meet you all here again, i was not able to joined you guys on Monday, it was a very tough and bad day for me, i couldn't believe my eyes seeing my phone downstairs and i couldn't recognized it face, it was all scattered and scratched, i looked up and i discovered that my little girl just throw it down without knowing what she did, the most funny part was that i was so upset and she was even smelling feeling so excited, omog! I was like 😭😭😭😭😭😭 but i couldn't help myself at that moment, well, mother faces a lot of challenges, children knows how to perform some miracle with a twinkle of an eye, i can't tell all, so i looked for a way to change the screen just to manage for a while because it was so serious and it affected some part.
I come to realize that there's a time for everything under this Earth, I agree and accepted to sign in another nine Months of course, since I'm still going far with the sweet course, i start looking for a cradle of comfort 😂😂😂🙆🙆 we all know that wearing something very free and easy is very good on this nine months joining, so i choose this fabric that i sewn previous for my niece.
Let's start the process.
I firstly started with the front side, i folded the fabric by two, i measured the full length, i measured the shoulder Length devided by two, then i took the hamhole length and divided my burst measurements by four, then i drafted the shape out and i cut oit the neck by 2 inches wide and 4 inches length then i cut out, and i open the front neck slit by 3 inches length.
I then folded the fabric again by two, i placed the front side on it and measured the back neck by 1.5 length and 2 inches wide, after that i cut the back side out.
After finishing with the cutting i now went ahead and cut out a plain material and turned in the front and the back neck.
I then joined the front and back shoulder, then i joined the both body together too.
I went on folding the fabric again by two and i cut oit the two side sleeves and joined on the dress.
After joining the sleeves i bend the down hem and iron it properly.
Here is the outcome of it.
This really looks so beautiful and comfortable, honestly sewing nerver end, if you asked how freely i am with this outfit..... I will said is 💯💯💯💯percent, i haven't use this style of sleeves before because i didn't like it but for now i choose to love it so much because it very free and nice, so...... You guys can see the Cradle of comfort i mean.....Thanks so very much for reading through, have a blissful day ahead
