Greetings everyone
Happy Monday to you and all my colleagues in the @needleworkmonday community. Today i a special day in this amazing community in which we are to share how needlework posts here in this community and I am very happy I was able to come up with something very simple and beautiful to share with you guys which is all making a beautiful cross handbag for my self to be used when going out.
This very bad is very important and very useful. It is two in on back which can contain so many this when used, like phone, money, Sewing tap, pen, jitter, and money others.
This bag is portable I love it and I know you love it too.
I saw someone using this type of bag last year and I love it because of that I have to excuse her to see how they sew the bag.
The reason why I love the back is because the bag is two in one and you can put your phone difference where you put your money. I remember I put my money together with my phone and someone called me I had to remove it and pick up the call not knowing my money had moved out with the phone and that is how I lost my money since that day I have always been very careful.
I don't have a small back like this to use, I do drop my phone at home when going to the market and I hold my money with my hand which does not make. Sense? At least this bag will save many purposes.
I would love to share with you guys some simple steps I took to design the bag.
Material used
- leathers (any color of ur choice)
- Sewing thread
- scissors
- chalk
- two zip.
- Sewing tape
The leather I am using for this back I collect from my friend who is working with leather.
Since I am using two colors in designing the bag, I want my back to be 20 inches by 7 inches. I have to divide it into three parts i made the center leather 6 inches by 7 inches the other two parts which are the same measurements are 7 inches by 7 inches while the back is 20 inches by 7 inches. And also the hand is 1 inches by 50 inches.
I then mark the measurements on the leather as shown below.
I then cut it out.
I proceed to sew the bag. I first joined the Maroon leather to the Ash leather with the help of a zip at the center and then sewed on top of it for it to be smooth.
I then join the ash leather at the other end of the maroon leather still with the help of a zip.
Here is the outcome of it.
I then sew the hand and the attached at the center and then sew it together.
I then bring out the front and the back.
The next thing to do is to sew the back and the front together.
I am done watching it. See photos.
I then opened the zip and removed the front face and here is the finished work.
That is how I go about the design of this cross handbag and I believe you love it and you can do it for yourself.
I hope this is beautiful.
