Hello, today I want to show you one of my creations, although already lost around the apartment. I wanted to please my son with something that interests him. I would say that I managed to surprise him even for a few days until they got lost - or hid it, I don't know anymore.
They are of the mini food type.
A year ago, I bought a children's cooking set from a website - understand the size of Barbie dolls.
The set includes a lot of items about 14-15 if I'm not mistaken, it had a large frying pan, a pot, an oval serving platter, a plate, a hot plate, a cutting board and what not.
Until recently, my son played with it as "things to cook" using coins, large beads (he is not in the habit of licking or putting things in his mouth that are not edible), balls and other small balls.
I decided to please him with something a little more interesting - fried eggs. I had already made these but bigger for my niece and I already knew how to make them.
For these I used a thin yarn suitable for lace.
I started by building the yolk with yellow yarn.
row 1 - I made a magic circle with 6 loops.
row 2 - Increase in each stitch
row 3 - 1 loop, increase
row 4 - 2 loops, increase
row 5 - 3 loops, increase
row 6 - 4 loops, increase
Change the color to white for the egg white.
- Knit only in the outer loop
row 7 - 5 loops, increase
row 8 - here it is already a free program, that is, I added an increase, a single and a double loop so that I could make a "curve" of the protein.
After reaching the desired size of the protein, it is knitted again only in the outer loop so that an edge of the protein can be obtained. In order to get a "back" in the first row, I again made "decreases" on a free program. Care must be taken not to distort the "base of the egg".
After the stitches were close to 6 I cut the yarn and sewed the hole. I hid the remaining yarn in the egg.
I would love to see your eggs too if they turned out like mine ;)
