Hello once again to the people of this community. How you all are doing? I hope you are doing good and enjoying good health and mental peace.Beautiful Monday to all of you. It's another day where I see alot of people pouring their heart into needlework post amazing things. Like every Monday I also come here to share my creativity with you and get some appreciations. Cats are beautiful and cute creatures.
When you own cat as a pet you realize that they contribute nothing to rent but live like they own the place. One minute they are ignoring you and very next minute they are curled up in your lap and cuddle. They've got a perfect mix of "I love you" and "I am superior to you ". But it doesn't make them not lovable but more cute and adorable.They’ll wake you up at 3 AM like they’ve solved world hunger, only to stare blankly at the food you give them as if they suddenly forgot what it was for. I always find them so adorable.
The process of making this cat includes two parts. One is it's face and other is the cover. I made them separately and joined them at the end.
Making amugrumis made me realized that the best outcome will be when you use a thick yarn and a small crochet hook. Use this method and you will always get a cute and neat amugrumis.
Making face was easy but the cover part was bit difficult I had to make it twice. The another purpose behind making this cat was that today used to have a cat named "zoro". It is funny that everytime I post amugrumis I have a backstory about them. But anyways I makes the process more interesting. So my cat name was zoro. It was my first and only cat I kept as a pet. She was so cute and adorable but she had habit of threatening other pets like we have peogens and chickens. So when I was home I took care of that matter and made sure that nothing happens. But when I moved into hostel my parents sent it to my aunt's.
After making the face I made the half cover and put it to the face and then i crochet it according to the face of cat. After that I borderline it with another colored yarn. And the face was complete. Then the face embroidery part comes. I embroidered the face using needle. I am now master of doing face embroidery. I don't think I will ever face the need of buying the beaded eyes etc.
