Hello again to the people of this community. Hope you all are doing good and enjoying good health. Today I tried to learn different patterns.Actually I started making table mat. Its funny story today. I saw so many youtube videos and finally decided what I am gonna made. The pattern was so pretty and seemed easy. And no doubt it was easy.The purpose of making the table mat was to make such things that can be used in real time. I want to make things for my home that can be used as decoration or whatsoever.
So you guys must be confused that i mentioned that I am gonna make a table mat. So yes! This was supposedly a table mat. But it came out as mini cushoin at the end.
* The process*
The process of making it was simple. It just included double crochet. In one round there was only 2 dc in one st and in another there were four.
So as you can see everything was going smooth and beautiful at the beginning. But as it gets bigger the shape was same but it was not sitting . Like if it is going to be a table mat it should sit flat on the table. But here is what it was looking like.
So I started wondering why it is not flat.so I saw the pattern again and I was making mistake.so I opened it. Like I litrally fully opened to make it again .so this time it was flat. But "happiness for a time being".Again when I made 8 to 10 rounds the problem started .so this time I decided not to open it and make again. I kept on thinking what should I do with it. I made it like a month ago. And today I took it out and made it into a moon shaped mini cushion.
I stuffed it with polyester. And it us useful actually. It can be used for neck. Because it have a good shape. And if we talk about it's look it completely look like a moon 🌙.
So I learnt that it was not useless. Because I learnt the pattern and my mistakes. And the second thing is "how to crochet a moon". So if now I want to crochet a moon shaped stuff I cam easily crochet it.
My sisters made fun of it saying It can be used as a clutch.
That's all about the story how I came up with this cushion.
