Hello to everyone in this community. How you all are doing. I hope you are doing good and enjoying mental peace.
Happy weekend to all of you. Weather is changing (thank god) finally. So is my productivity. I am now convincing myself to invest more time and energy I projects to make them big and beautiful. A friendās birthday is a special time to celebrate the incredible bond you share, a day to show them just how much they mean to you. Itās more than just marking another year of their lifeāitās an opportunity to reflect on all the memories youāve created together, the laughter, the class fun the trips and everything that strengthen your friendship.
On this day, you can give thanks for their kindness, support, and the way they always brighten your days with their presence. Whether itās through a heartfelt message, a thoughtful gift, or simply spending time together, a birthday is a perfect reminder of the love and joy friends bring into our lives.I am not very good with words like I can't say sweet words or heartfelt messages so i always prefer to gift something to show my love. And a handmade gift is another level of showcasing your affection and sweetness to other person.
So I did what I am expert in (crocheting).I sat down and scrolled through pinterest and youtube that what should I make for her.
Have a look on the giraffe š¦ amugrumi.
Then i realized she love cute things like plushies and little things. That is why she is also learning crochet. And I decided I would be best to crochet a cute animal for her.
The process of making this amugrumi includes different steps. 1st step is making head and body. Head include making 6 sc in mgr then inc in 2nd round then to 13th round increase one sc and decrease I inc to get the head part.To make body do the sc below the head and in the middle if belly do increases to get fat belly.
Then the second part is making horns, feets, arms, and ears. I always say that making these little things takes your energy and its like patience test. You have to make all these things separately which are very small. And also I used 2mm hook and 2 ply yarn. Taking small hook and yarn means you have to put double effort although the products always look neat and very beautiful but It really takes a lot of effort as compared to using a big hook and yarn.
And also when you complete these things they just don't look alike. I mean I followed the same pattern for both feets but they were not alike same is the case with horns and arms. But It does not really effect the look of final product.
It is my second semester in university and me and my friends met at the first day of university. Although it's not been so long but we are already really close. And exchanging gifts and messages strengthen your friendship more. In September another friend of mine has her birthday and I made a fish for her she liked it alot she usually keep it with her.
This was all for the process. I hope you like it.
Here are some pictures of final product.
See you later š š.
Take care š š.
Bye bye š š.
