Happy new week friends,
it’s your boy @smilestitches back on your screen again, friends hope you’re all doing perfectly fine, we’re in the final quarter of the year and I can’t wait for Christmas, my body has started to do me Christmas Christmas 😂 😂 it’s been amazing working with you guys so far, great people, great minds, amazing personalities have been so blessed so far and have enjoyed every moment with you all, have learnt from others posts and have been educated about something so I say thank you to you all.
So guys am here again with you all, this time I’ll be sharing with you all how I got this shiny beautiful black trousers made from start to finish and I wore the black trouser to church. In my church choir the uniform was all black, I had black blazers and the trouser of it had was bad so I thought of making another trouser to wear with the suit blazers, so friends I’ll be showing you all how I got it done. Since it was mine I didn’t have to measure cus I got my measurement off heart.
Sewing items used:
- Black material
- Shiny black material
- Black thread
- Black zip
- Collar gum for waist
Cutting processes:
I bend the fabric into two and I map out my trouser measurements and cut it out.
My sewing processes:
Step 1:
Now I took the front and gum the side pocket and I did the side pocket now after that I move to doing the back side and I did the back pocket and I included the shiny material at the side of the back and I joined the back to the front and I did the flap for the zip too.
Trousers are the most easiest and fastest thing to sew that’s why not much things to do.
Quick one!!!!
Something huge is popping very soon I wouldn’t like to disclose it yet until when everything is fully put in place but it’s a massive win, this platform has really helped me a lot both educationally and financially let be say a big thank you to you all before continuing my post.
###Step 2:
I now cut the collar gum size of 1.2inches and length of my waist since my waist was 31, I wanted it to be a beltless trouser since that’s what is trending so I intended to do mine that way.
I now add some inches to that 31 waist I cut and I gum it on the fabric and did the waist band and I move to joining all the sides of the trouser and I did the trouser bending and my trouser was ready for use. It was the one I wore to check yesterday.
