Hello needlemovers🙋‍♂️

Good morning to you all and happy Sunday to you all, hope we’re all doing very well, it’s another blasted @needlework morning for us to showcase our executive creativities for others to see and learn from, we also in turn learn from other people’s creativities and contents too.
This past few months had been very tough for me, I hardly create a content of my own, I hardly have contents to post too, it’s almost as if am no longer interested because of time. At first when I started this work, I was so excited beautiful I’ll get to complete my suit training and I’ll be an expert at it but over time I found out that the work it’s self is so demanding of my time, I sometimes spend my hole week working tirelessly and most times my weekends too and I’ll be so trained at the end of the day. Now even my days and nights too are being occupied, I practically don’t have even a single time for my self to do anything and it’s hurt me so badly because coming here and relating with all of you here is the one things that gives me peace of mind and joy now that there’s no more time for me to do that you can’t even imagine what am passing through. I was having a chart with @crosheille few days ago, I must admit she’s a very good person an amazing personality and above all she’s really a good observer too, while we were having a conversation she’s could spot out that I was very tired and I was shocked how she found that out, meanwhile what I was feeling that moment wasn’t even tiredness I was feeling much more worst than that but she somehow spotted out how I was at that moment. Work has just me a pain in the neck this past few days so friends I just hope you could understand that it’s not my fault but no matter what I promise you all that I’ll never give up I’ll keep fighting and fight till it’s over, till the morning comes, trust me even if a second I have I’ll make my way here and give my best that I promise like today am just having few minutes so I had to look for a safe and quiet place to create my content and post. Am actually hiding 😂 cause I don’t want to be caught by my boss who’s just moving around here now. I couldn’t even participate on the Mother’s Day celebration cause I was so chocked with work that I couldn’t even sit down to think of what to make not to even talk of having a single time to make it. I just pray God should help me and someday I’ll be done with this work and I’ll be free from it.
So friends since it’s a @needlework creativity morning, I also have an outfit I would love to share with you all as usual, it’s actually a simple, casual wear and I’ll just have to put in my best to make it look unique. So friends stay connected while I take you on a ride @smilestitches.

Items used:

  1. A green fabric
  2. An Ashoka
  3. A matching thread

My sewing processes:

Step 1:

I lay the fabric and i with a drawing chalk, I sketched out the measurement of the person, this person of cloth is call “dangsiki” the sleeves is been cut together alongside with the body they don’t cut it out piece by piece they join them both and cut it out so that was just what I did and I cut it out.

Step 2:

After my front cutting,I made a back cutting too and I proceeded toward joining it there’re not supposed to be a joining at the front but just a little one at the back.

Step 3:

After the back joining with the front on the back view, I bend the allowances I included at the down part of the sleeves in and I sewed it and I turned the neck using same fabric and I made a little v at the front part of the neck so to enable the person’s head free access into the cloth.

Step 4:

I was done with that and I joined both side and the dangsiki was ready and the finial thing I did was to use that Ashoka to form a pocket and I place it at the down part of the cloth and I did a 2inches joining too at the down part before placing those pocket, I removed the fabric to give it a style at the down part of that pocket.

Hello.

Your casual garment is very nice. I liked the thread detail on the sides.

Thanks so much @creacioneslelys for those sweet comments

Beautiful, I like the combination of native attire for the pocket.

My favorite thing is the aso-oke you added to the sides. It is really nice.

Hello friend, I loved your work, the detail of the pocket with the threads is very nice, greetings.

Thanks for much @coromoto20

I love the geometry of your pattern and how you arranged the fabrics. Very nice shirt.
But not so nice to hear you are so stressed and tired. I hope your boss will get more lenient in time, so that you find time to relax.
I admire that you still find time to write and post (perhaps you could kill two birds with one stone and tell us more about your new work in your posts? I am sure there are a lot Needleworkers interested in it.)

Remember that every sacrifice has its reward. Surely all the effort you are making now will be worth it. I'm glad you still take the time to do what you like, this project turned out great.

Have a great day and a great Mother's day ❤️!
