Grasshopper! Is one of the insect species that are very easy to find anywhere, and they are also able to adapt where they were born, both on the coast, in the wilderness, in urban environments, and locations other than the Antarctic continent. Such a location on the continent is one of the most extreme regions, or has a temperature of around 10 ° celsius.
This species is often discussed in my posts, in posts that have gone through a lot of discussions that tell of its original character and the farmers' assessment of it. However, in this post, we will tell you some interesting things that we need to know and it is also important for our children to understand.
Previously, I would like to say that have seen some facts about grasshoppers, maybe some people don't know it, so this is the location for learning. Then what?
Let's see...

Grasshoppers can make sounds or are assumed to be singing
Basically, each animal species certainly has a different sound variation, if the species is different then the sound produced is based on the vocal cords in its mouth, then the results will be different, or the sound produced is due to friction between body parts. So that it can create an instrument or certain tones.
If you explore more deeply, the grasshoppers are also able to create a very unique sound, if they are performing an action, so that these sounds are assumed to be like a tone coming from an instrument.
If we look at the voice or sound that is issued by him, it does not come from his vocal cords or from his mouth, but the sound comes from the parts of their own body.
The sound occurs when they are stepping, or in expert terms as stridulating,
the process when this happens when the long hind legs are rubbed against the wings, the friction produces a tone that resembles a certain musical instrument. This distinctive sound when combined or seen several grasshoppers doing it creates a good tone like music that is being played.
Have you heard of it?
If you look more deeply, it turns out that the body part in the form of a "special peg" located on the inside of the hind leg functions like a percussion instrument, the chronology is that the armpit of the peg is in contact with the thickened wing edge, so that's where a magical and beautiful sound can be heard if you look closely carefully.
In our local language, it can be said that grasshoppers often make a "drum" sound if you pay attention to them.
It is often heard in daily life that grasshoppers make drum sounds in a habitat, it will look boisterous if there are 10 grasshoppers in action. It will sound great if the voice is issued alternately or responds to each other with the appropriate tone tempo.

Grasshoppers can perform an act of bouncing themselves into the air without using their wings
Here I want to say that, the grasshopper is very great, why? Because he was created to have two advantages, namely when he wanted to be in the air, his prowess in addition to having hard wings he was also awarded with strong hind legs, so he was able to soar into the air with a fairly high size. In its position as a leaf-eating animal, it can also position itself as a flying insect species. If another species in the air uses its wings but the grasshopper does so by bending its hind legs and then using both wings.
If you have ever caught a grasshopper as a child, then you will know how difficult it is to catch it when it is on standby to protect itself, meaning its light body is able to throw itself into the air at will. I think if humans are given this power like grasshoppers, then it can be said that "Being able to jump and soar into the air with the power to pass through a soccer field, that's the power of this leaf eater if you want to take an action.
All those great things, there are and are in those big hind legs, just like in the above explanation in getting an instrument out. In simple terms it can be said that the grasshopper's hind legs function as very flexible springs, or like miniature slingshots that are often played by children in rural areas. In preparation for jumping, the grasshopper will contract its large flexor muscles slowly, then bend its hind legs at the knee joints, and finally a scene of flying soaring high into the air is clearly visible in an instant, extraordinary and very intense.
The grasshopper seen in this post, is one of the grasshoppers that comes from an area, seems to be flying high and chose the exact landing location in my private house, the stop is above the ground floor of the house, when you look at it it seems to come in and doesn't seem to give off trouma fever.
Here I see it flying higher on a high roof, while the alleged location of the original nest is in the area around our neighborhood, if it is measured to have a distant size of about 500 meters.
