Macro: Zizeeria knysna "Grass Blue Butterfly"

in #hive-1292532 years ago

Having the name Zizeeria knysna - source or commonly referred to as the Grass blue - source butterfly which has a color like its name, the wings of this species are gray mixed with black patterns. These butterflies are active in the morning until noon and can be found in open fields with plants or grass surrounding them. I discovered these butterflies perched on the leaves and moved to the stems of plants to reduce disturbance.
