A veces, no vemos las cosas viejas más allá, a veces decidimos botarlas sin darle otra oportunidad, como digo yo. Para mí, la mayoría de las cosas siempre pueden ser salvables, depende su estado.
Puede que ya no nos guste por ejemplo el color, porque ya no va con nuestra decoración, pero alto, no lo botemos, restauremos y le podemos dar más vida útil.
Hello my dear friends of hivediy a big greeting to all. Today I come to show you a restoration of an old lamp that I had in storage.
Sometimes, we don't see old things further, sometimes we decide to throw them away without giving them another chance, as I say. For me, most things can always be salvageable, it depends on their condition.
We may not like the color, for example, because it no longer goes with our decoration, but stop, let's not throw it away, let's restore it and give it more useful life.
Hoy les traigo la restauración de mi lámpara y asi fue el proceso.
Today I bring you the restoration of my lamp and this is how the process went.
-Materiales que use:
-Pintura de tela blanca.
-Pintura de cerámica negra.
-Pinceles.
-Tijera.
-Lámpara a restaurar.
-Materials I used:
-White fabric paint.
-Black ceramic paint.
-Brushes.
-Scissors.
-Lamp to restore.
-PASO1.
Comencé pintando la base de la lámpara o el pie de la lámpara con el color negro de la pintura al frio.
Espere que secara bien y le di una segunda mano para que cubriera mejor.
-STEP1.
I started painting the base of the lamp or the foot of the lamp with the black color of the cold paint.
I waited for it to dry well and gave it a second coat for better coverage.
-PASO2.
Empecé aplicar ahora con la pintura de tela negra, todo lo que estaba forrado en la pantalla de la lámpara con tela vinotinto.
Aquí tuve que esperar que fuera secando, y termine dándole 3 manos por que costo un poco que cubriera.
-STEP 2.
I started applying now with the black fabric paint, everything that was lined in the lampshade with vinotint fabric.
Here I had to wait for it to dry, and I ended up giving it 3 coats because it cost a little to cover.
-PASO3.
Con la pintura blanca, le cubrí el espacio que tiene entre toda la tela, le di 2 manos de pintura para que cubriera más fuerte esa zona.
-STEP3.
With the white paint, I covered the space between all the fabric, I gave it 2 coats of paint to cover that area more strongly.
-PASO4.
Como quería darle un toque diferente, decidí cortar las viejas borlas que tenía, y luego a esa franja que le quedo, le di un retoque con blanco y listo.
Este fue el resultado de mi restauración de una vieja lámpara que aún le queda vida por usar en mi sala dando un toque diferente.
Recuerden que hay objetos que valen la pena reusar dándole nuestro toque personal.
-STEP 4.
As I wanted to give it a different touch, I decided to cut the old tassels that I had, and then I gave a touch up with white and that was it.
This was the result of my restoration of an old lamp that still has life left to use in my living room giving a different touch.
Remember that there are objects that are worth reusing giving our personal touch.
