My little sister is Picking up on Crocheting!

in #hive-1305607 months ago

Hello everyone! I’d like to share something really amazing today. It's about the beautiful DIY crochet creations my younger sister has been making for some time now that keeps me in awe. Even though I may not be the one doing the work , I have a great admiration for this lovely skill after seeing her work.

You know, crocheting is something that my sister, Grace, started just last year. It started as a normal holiday diversion and curiosity. We had no idea that she would develop into making little things for herself . What makes Grace’s crocheting so fascinating is not even the finished pieces as she is just a little girl and is still owning her skills, but the process itself. She would see someone wear something and want to replicate that with yarns and pins. I find this extremely amazing.

I've watched her start, loose and restart her work till she got it right, even as little as she is. It's like watching a sculptor working, skillfully crafting something beautiful. One of her first projects was a little hat, and my mum praised her like she did the best hat in the world. This encouraged her to do even more.

Grace now creates more than just hats with her crocheting. She has created bags, hand bangles and even table cloths, even though they still do not have the best finishing now. We still applaud and encourage her. She has demonstrated to me that you can create multiple fashion items with just the yarns and hook. From research, I even found that one can make things like elegant purses and fashionable pullovers.

I strongly advise anybody considering beginning a DIY project to give crocheting a try. Also, if you have a sibling thanks starting out, please encourage them. I've learned from looking at what my sister does that crocheting is more than just the finished product. I think it is about the creative process, the excitement of creating something new, and the fulfillment that comes with the fact that you have created something with your hand.

In conclusion, even though I'm not the one doing the crotchet, I find great inspiration in my little sister's enthusiasm and skill. What do you think guys?
