Los vestidos y las faldas están muy de moda, me encantan porque despiertan aun más nuestra energía femenina y la elegancia. Si fuera por mí me pondría siempre vestidos, pero que me queden bonito son pocos, o son muy descotados o son muy costosos y otros en cambio, necesitaría más cuerpo para rellenarlos...
Sé que puedo hacerme mis propios vestidos y faldas pero necesito un patrón o tener uno como guía, además de una tela bonita, a pesar que hay muchas tiendas, no conectaba con ningún estampado ni tipo de tela.
Para mi nivel de costura y confección me va mejor una tela stretch estampada hay muchas marcas y tipos, la que compré hoy tan solo me costó 3$ y es 1 metro. Con esto basta y sobra para hacerme un conjunto según mis medidas.

Dresses and skirts are very fashionable, I love them because they awaken even more our feminine energy and elegance. If it were up to me I would always wear dresses, but there are few dresses that fit me, or they are too low-cut or too expensive, and others I would need more body to fill them...
I know I can make my own dresses and skirts but I need a pattern or have one as a guide, plus a nice fabric, although there are many shops, I didn't connect with any print or type of fabric.
For my level of sewing and dressmaking I am better off with a printed stretch fabric, there are many brands and types, the one I bought today only cost me 3$ and it is 1 metre. This is enough to make me an outfit according to my measurements.

Paso a paso / Step by Step

He usado una falda como molde para cortar la tela y usé una franela como molde para cortar la blusa, doblé la tela en dos y reproduje cada pieza. Aun me quedó un rectángulo de tela y lo usaré para hacer una cinta par ala cintura.
Cuello los laterales de la blusa y para coser el cuello y las mangas prefiero bastear primero, así es mas cómodo para coser a máquina sin que se ruede o quede torcido.

I used a skirt as a template to cut the fabric and used a flannel as a template to cut the blouse, folded the fabric in two and reproduced each piece. I still have a rectangle of fabric left and will use it to make a waistband.
I sew the sides of the blouse and to sew the collar and sleeves I prefer to baste first, so it's more comfortable to sew by machine without it rolling or getting twisted.

Me tocó cortar la tela en el piso, mi mesa la está ocupando mi hijo.
Cuando dispongas coser los laterales de la blusa para cerrar no olvides coser en zig zag para proteger la tela que no se deshilache y quede un mejor acabado.
Cose los ruedos de los hombros o mangas y el cuello, luego realiza un dobladillo y cose un ruedo, cuando llegues a las costuras laterales ábrelas para que no quede la tela enrollada y mal cosida, esto le dará un mejor acabado también.

I had to cut the fabric on the floor, my table is occupied by my son.
When you sew the sides of the blouse to close it, don't forget to sew in zig zag to protect the fabric from fraying and to give a better finish.
Sew the hems of the shoulders or sleeves and the collar, then hem and sew a hem, when you get to the side seams open them so that the fabric is not rolled up and badly sewn, this will give a better finish as well.

Cierra la falda por los laterales con una costura recta.
Cose zig zag la orilla de la tela para que no se deshilache.
Toma la medida de tu cintura y corta el ancho de la goma elástica.
Cose la goma por la mitad, une formando un círculo.
Dobla la tela de la falta de modo que puedas coser el goma por dentro de una vez, cose el dobladillo sin fijar la goma de la tela, procura que quede libre.

Close the skirt at the sides with a straight seam.
Zig zag stitch the edge of the fabric so that it doesn't fray.
Take your waist measurement and cut the width of the elastic.
Sew the elastic in half, joining in a circle.
Fold the fabric of the skirt so that you can sew the elastic inside all at once, sew the hem without fixing the elastic to the fabric, making sure it is free.

Luego de coser la goma elástica en la cintura, cose zig zag en el ruedo de la falda y luego realiza un dobladillo sencillo en el ruedo, cose con una recta.
No doble dos veces la tela del ruedo para evitar que quedara pesado.

After sewing the elastic at the waistband, zig zag stitch around the hem of the skirt and then make a simple hem at the hem, sew with a straight stitch.
Do not fold the hem fabric twice to avoid it being heavy.

Toma el rectángulo de tela, y dobla por el derecho del estampado, cose una recta, luego voltea la tela y tendrás un cinturón que combina con el traje.
Un conjunto como este y no tan agraciado, lo venden en las tiendas hasta en 20$, yo solo gasté 5$ en total entre tela, hilo y la goma elástica.
Tu puedes hacer tus propios trajes.

Take the rectangle of fabric, fold it right side out, sew a straight line, then flip the fabric over and you have a belt that matches the suit.
An outfit like this, and not so fancy, is sold in shops for up to 20$, I only spent 5$ in total between fabric, thread and the elastic.
