A lot of art (eng/esp)

I get lost inside the magic that a painting transmits, I try to understand the artist's idea and in my mind I draw an interpretation of it. One of the first works I saw was the canvas "The Prince of the Port", made in charcoal by the renowned Cuban artist Alexys Leyva, known as Kcho. This is a recurring sculptor in my publications because there are many spaces in the city flooded with his work.

Yo me pierdo dentro de la magia que transmite un cuadro, intentó entender la idea del artista y en mi mente dibujo una interpretación del mismo. Una de las primeras obras que ví fue el lienzo “El príncipe del puerto”, confeccionado en carboncillo por el reconocido artista cubano de la plástica Alexys Leyva, conocido como Kcho. Este es un escultor recurrente en mis publicaciones porque existen muchos espacios en la ciudad inundados con su obra.

Another of the works that I saw and recognized the style, was the painting "The Mother" by Zaida del Rio, who is currently one of the fundamental figures of contemporary Cuban art, and who develops as a painter, engraver, ceramist, poet and writer. This canvas shows the image of a woman who in her interior is full of roots and flowers, and many other women's faces surround her.

Otra de las obras que vi y reconocí el estilo, fue el cuadro “La madre” de Zaida del Río, quien constituye actualmente una de las figuras fundamentales del arte contemporáneo cubano, y que se desarrolla como pintora, grabadora, ceramista, poeta y escritora. Este lienzo muestra la imagen de una mujer que en su interior está llena de raíces y flores, y la rodean otros muchos rostros de mujer.

This gallery has for sale the totality of the works it exhibits, and from my criteria, the quality of the presentations is excellent. Particularly, it has two pieces that I found very striking. The first is an image of a very tender young woman covered with a large cape, but with the peculiarity that the work has a circular shape.
The other is a painting that shows a fascinating view of the sea from two open windows, but these seem to be made of wood: it was fantastic!!!!

Esta galería tiene en venta la totalidad de las obras que exhibe, y desde mi criterio, la calidad de las presentaciones es excelente. Particularmente tiene dos piezas que me resultaron muy llamativas. La primera es la imagen de una joven muy tierna cubierta con una gran capa, pero que tiene la peculiaridad de que la obra tiene una forma circular. La otra es un cuadro que muestra una fascinante vista al mar desde dos ventanas abiertas, pero estas parecen confeccionadas en madera: quedó fantástico!!!

I was able to see other very interesting works as well, some very colorful, and others with a more sober design.

Pude ver otras obras muy interesantes también, algunas muy coloridas, y otras con un diseño más sobrio.
