I will like to share how I made this awesome simple pearl necklace.
MATERIALS
Based on the material I used the following;
•An elastic robe
•A niddle
•8 mm Pearl bead
•hook
•Scissors
PROCEDURES
My plans earlier was to make out something more complex but my elastic rope had thick density and it's difficult to use my 6 mm pearl beads so I have to go for the 8mm. Though my 8 mm was limited so I have to go for something simple and classy. One thing I love about this necklace is that, I admire it so much when I see it around another person's neck. It so simple, fine and adorable.
Firstly, I took out my hook and tied the end of my line to it, making sure it's not loose and cut off the excesses.
At the line of other line, I pull my rope through the niddle. The niddle helps in making the procedure faster. You don't have to tie the doubles rope just proceed with it. The design of the neck piece is a simple one so there wasn't any need to use a niddle.
Secondly, I went ahead to put my bead on my line filling it up to the extent I want. I started with the first three beads. I didn't want it like a chocker so I made it a bit loose from my neck.
Just going through the same procedure, I went ahead to keep putting more on the line till it got to the length I wanted. I have to place it round my neck to be sure I was getting the length I wanted. The first time I did, it wasn't enough so I have to be adding more beads to my line till I got the length I wanted.
I tied the end of the line to my second hook end, making sure it isn't loose and tie tightly before cutting off the excess. I checked if there is any place loose so I could easily amend before cutting off the excess of my rope.
Tada! My bead is done and ready to be rocked with anything at all. I tried it on and it was so perfect, not too tight and not too loose. I couldn't stop taking amazing pictures of it. I felt fulfilled and happy that was able to do something like this
