First Graffiti Art trial on Jean Pants

in #hive-130560last year

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. It's my first posting here and also my first graffiti denim. I've been taking lectures on this though and thought i should give it a try. Outside gym, photography, sports, fashion and writing i also find interest in art. I believe everyone can be a creator and i love to create concepts through fashion, art and photography.

However, I looked up on Pinterest for different graffiti denims and styles, then finally saw one i love and decided to recreate. It's a picture of a teary eyes.

Instruments used:

  • Paint brushes.
  • Blue, white, black and yellow acrylic and fabric paint. (I usually mix both.)
  • Pencil
  • Pen
  • Eraser

FOLLOW ME THOUGH THE PROCESS>>>>>>>

  • First, i got a pair of baggy jean.

  • I then began to sketch out the drawing on the jean using a pencil.

  • After sketching with a pencil, i used a black pen to make it more visible so I'll be able to see the picture well. Not compulsory though.

  • I went ahead to apply a white background on the eye balls and the tears part and a black background on the retina and top part of the eye and then allow to dry as shown in the pictures below. This is done before i apply the main colors, so it won't fade so quickly when you wash the denim. I repeated this process twice and allowed to dry again.

  • After letting it dry, i then began to apply blue color on the tears part. I repeated the process twice.
  • Next, for the little white part around the retina, i applied a mixture of blue, white and yellow to get a sea green kind of color.
  • I did one more filling, applied white on some part the tears to give it this 3D look and then continued with the finishing touches by using my smallest brush and black paint to highlight the picture lines so the image would show properly.

So here's the finishing look .

Y'all tell me how well i did.
Corrections can come in too.
And until next time, do have a wonderful day.
