Es muy muy difícil concentrarse en algo cuando tú mente y corazón están llenos de ansiedad, estrés, preocupación y dolor. La situación país es muy lamentable y ver cómo muchas personas andan sin esperanza, muchas perdiendo su vida, otras siendo víctimas de injusticias, no permite por más que se quiera concentrarse en algo... Salvo en orar porque Se haga la voluntad de nuestro creador y por mucha Paz mental.
Sin embargo hice un máximo esfuerzo por poner mis energías en otras cosas que no fuera ver las noticias, y que al mismo tiempo me permitieran drenar toda esa ansiedad que genera todo este caos que se vive en el país.
Hace algunos años decoré unas botellas, que aún conservo. Mi suegra andaba en planes para arreglar y redecorar su cocina, así que me preguntó que materiales necesitaba para decorarle una botella y así colocarla como adorno en algún espacio, por lo que sólo le pedí una botella de vidrio.
En principio había pensado hacerle algo con técnica de puntillismo, pero... No tenía los colores que me gustaban. Así que opté por un diseño sencillo pero elegante al mismo tiempo.
Aquí les cuento el proceso y los materiales que utilicé.

Except praying for the will of our Creator to be done and for much peace of mind.
However, I made a maximum effort to put my energies in other things than watching the news, and that at the same time allowed me to drain all that anxiety that generates all this chaos in the country.
Some years ago I decorated some bottles, which I still have. My mother-in-law was planning to fix and redecorate her kitchen, so she asked me what materials I needed to decorate a bottle and place it as an ornament in some space, so I just asked her for a glass bottle.
At first I had thought of doing something with pointillism technique, but.... I didn't have the colors I liked. So I opted for a simple but elegant design at the same time.
Here I tell you about the process and the materials I used.

•~ Pintura de Preferencia.
•~ Mecatillo.
•~ Silicón Caliente.
PROCESO
Lave muy bien la botella para eliminar restos de grasa y suciedad y así permitir que se fijara mejor la pintura más adelante.
Lo siguiente fue tomar una cinta plástica, en este caso usé tirro blanco, la pegué a la altura donde quería eo diseño limpio, es decir sin pintura ni ningún otro tipo de detalles.
El siguiente paso fue con la ayuda de una esponja, pintar la botella desde la marca del tirro hacia arriba. Para que cubriera bien le apliqué 3 capas de pintura y luego esperamos que seque muy muy bien.

-~ Hot Silicone.
PROCESS
I washed the bottle very well to remove grease and dirt and thus allow the paint to set better later.
The next step was to take a plastic tape, in this case I used white tape, I stuck it at the height where I wanted the design clean, that is to say without paint or any other type of details.
The next step was with the help of a sponge, paint the bottle from the mark of the strip upwards. To cover it well I applied 3 coats of paint and then we waited for it to dry very very well.
Lo siguiente fue tomar el Mecatillo y con la ayuda del silicón caliente irlo pegando en todo el borde inferior de la botella, hasta llevarlo a la marca que hicimos con el tirro.
Una vez lo llegamos hasta el tope impuesto, el siguiente paso es despegar esa cinta y vemos como empieza a tomar forma nuestra botellita 🤩.
Esa parte donde quitamos el tirro no lleva más nada, lo dejé limpio. Aunque si queremos podemos hacerle algún diseño, en mi caso, me pareció que dejarlo así lo haría más elegante.
The next step was to take the Mecatillo and with the help of the hot silicone, glue it all around the bottom edge of the bottle, until it reaches the mark we made with the tape.
Once we got it to the imposed top, the next step is to peel off the tape and we see how our bottle begins to take shape 🤩.
That part where we remove the strap has nothing else, I left it clean. Although if we want we can make some design, in my case, I thought that leaving it like that would make it more elegant.
Tenía algunas ideas en este punto, quería dibujar un hermoso girasol, pero... No tenía los colores adecuados para ello y no quería arruinar todo el trabajo que había hecho, asi que me fuí por lo sencillo, en el cuello de la botella di unas cuantas vueltas de Mecatillo, también realicé un lacito y se lo fijé.
Así la botella quedó lista... Había pensando en barnizarla, pero realmente el aspecto mate me gustaba mucho y se lo quería dejar.
Y este fue el resultado...✨
I had some ideas at this point, I wanted to draw a beautiful sunflower, but.... I didn't have the right colors for it and I didn't want to ruin all the work I had done, so I went for the simple thing, on the neck of the bottle I did a few turns of Mecatillo, I also made a bow and fixed it to it.
So the bottle was ready... I had thought about varnishing it, but I really liked the matte look and I wanted to leave it.
And this was the result...✨

Lo que me gustó de esta botella es que se puede usar como decoración solita, es decir sin Flores o algún otro arreglo. Puede estar sola en una mesa o también con otros adornos más.
A mí esposo le encantó, tanto que e dijo que me iba a conseguir varias botellas para hacer unas cuantas para nosotros.
Espero, les sea útil este pequeño tutorial para reciclar las botellas y así no solo contribuimos con el planeta, sino que también embellecemos los espacios de nuestro hogar.

What I liked about this bottle is that it can be used as a decoration on its own, that is, without flowers or any other arrangement. It can stand alone on a table or with other decorations as well.
My husband loved it, so much that he said he was going to get me several bottles to make some for us.
