Esp / Eng | Tutorial para Realizar una Piñata con la Temática de Minion / Tutorial to Make a Piñata with the Minion Theme
Hello friends of #hiveblog and the #hivediy community, today, Thursday, I am going to make my first post in this great community and I want to show you how to make a Minion-themed piñata that a colleague from the hemodialysis unit commissioned for me where I work as a nurse and She asked me for a piñata for her son who was on his birthday and since she knows about my crafts, she told me to help her with this task and I was delighted to say yes, with great pleasure
To make this and all the piñatas that I am commissioned to do, I use recycled cardboard, crepe paper of the color to be used, wick to sew together, glue that I made by cooking two or three tablespoons of wheat flour with a cup of water and a lot of creativity that comes naturally to me without further ado I begin to describe the entire production process
First he made the drawing of the minion on one of the cardboard sheets and cut it out. This figure measures 70 centimeters high by 40 centimeters wide, and I repeat the operation on the other cardboard sheet, use two cardboard sheets to remove the back and front of what will be the minion piñata
To join the back and the front of what will be the piñata I am going to cut several rectangles 16 centimeters wide, to which I will draw a line 2 centimeters wide on both sides of the rectangle, to then make a double in the line that I have drawn and I will have a tab on both sides that I will use to join both faces by means of a water and wick so that they are more resistant and do not disarm so quickly
After having everything already cut, I proceed to join both parts by sewing with wick and needle first one side and then the other, always pulling the wick so that it is not loose and both sides are very close
After having sewn the piñata, I cover it with the paste that I made by cooking three tablespoons of wheat flour in a cup of water until it thickens and then when it is cold I begin to line the skeleton of the piñata with I recycle sheets to make it more resistant to flour and I take it out in the sun to dry for several hours
Once the skeleton of the piñata is dry, I start the decoration and embellishment process starting from the bottom up, first I line what will be the shoes with black crepe paper, then continue with the blue crepe paper that it will be the minion's pants
