Hello craft friends, I recently made a pencil holder in the shape of a house and I showed my coworkers how it turned out, and what do you know, they were quick to ask me to make one for them. Since I like originality, I didn't want to do it the same, so I chose a different design, a tree house. To make it, I used recycled materials such as paper, cardboard and a plastic bottle, I really like to give life to what is no longer used and sometimes will be discarded, you can't imagine how many things we can create with them. Below, I show you all the materials used and the elaboration process:
Hola amigos artesanos, hace poco hice un portalápiz en forma de casa y le mostré a mis compañeras de trabajo como había quedado, y que creen, no demoraron en pedirme que les elaborara uno. Como me gusta la originalidad no quise hacerlo igual, por lo que escogí un diseño diferente, una casa en el árbol. Para su confección, utilicé materiales reciclados como papel, cartón y una botella plástica, me gusta mucho darle vida a lo que ya no se usa y en ocasiones van a desechar, no se imaginan la cantidad de cosas que podemos crear con ellas. A continuación, les muestro todos los materiales utilizados y el proceso de elaboración:

The first thing to do is to take a plastic bottle and mark the height you want according to the materials you are going to store, then cut with the scissors.

Mark a circle on a thick cardboard to be used as a base, leaving approximately 2cm outwards, glue with silicone and place in the center of the base.

With recycled sheets of paper you will give the shape of the trunk, these sheets of paper are folded lengthwise and twisted completely. Make as many as necessary to cover the entire contour of the bottle.
Con hojas desechables se le dará la forma del tronco, estas hojas de papel se doblan a lo largo y se van torciendo completamente. Hacer las necesarias para cubrir todo el contorno de la botella.

With these same twisted strips, we make some circles and place them on both sides, other strips are also placed to give the twisted and voluminous shape of the trees.
Con estas mismas tiras torcidas, realizamos unos círculos y los colocamos en los dos lados, también se ubican otras tiras para darle esa forma torcida y voluminosa de los árboles.

With cardboard I made the door, cut its shape and some rectangular pieces. I placed them on top leaving a small gap as if they were the boards and cut the excess. Then I placed it in the center of the tree and put another twisted strip as a frame.
Con cartón hice la puerta, corté su forma y unos pedazos rectangulares. Estos los coloqué encima dejando una pequeña separación como si fueran las tablas y corté el exceso. Luego la ubiqué en el centro del árbol y le puse como marco otra tira torcida.

I took a cardboard square and cut a few 1 cm apart, then folded it to make a ladder. I glued a semicircle at the bottom and placed it just below the door. Then I made a crescent under the ladder to use as a base and finally I filled in the edges of the ladder and the hollow part underneath with twisted strips.
Tomé un cuadro de cartón y le hice unos cortes de 1 cm de separación, luego doblé para hacer una escalera. Le pegué un semicírculo en la parte baja y la coloqué justo debajo de la puerta. Después hice como una medialuna debajo de la escalera para utilizarla como base y finalmente rellené los bordes de la escalera y la parte hueca que quedaba debajo con tiras torcidas.

Cover the entire surface with disposable napkins and liquid glue to give it strength and cover the spaces between the strips. Allow to dry.
Cubrir toda la superficie con servilletas desechables y pegamento líquido para darle fortaleza y tapar los espacios entre las tiras. Dejar secar.

With carmelite paint I gave it a few strokes with a half dry brush to highlight the texture of the tree.

For the door I chose blue and with green I painted some parts as if it were moss.

To decorate I used green and black foami, which I mixed to obtain a darker green and placed it in several areas where I had painted green. I textured it with a brush to make it look more porous.
Para decorar utilicé foami verde y negro, los cuales mezclé para obtener un verde más oscuro y lo coloqué en varias áreas donde había pintado de verde. A este le di textura con un cepillo para que se viera más poroso.

Finally, to give more life to this house, with brightly colored foami, I made little flowers and placed them everywhere. I made some vines that surround the house with a few leaves and with the portions of foami that I had left over, I mixed them and obtained a gray color with which I made some little balls as if they were stones at the entrance of the house.
Por último, para darle más vida a esta casa, con foami de colores vivos, elaboré pequeñas florecitas y las coloqué por todos lados. Hice unas enredaderas que rodean la casa con unas cuantas hojas y con las porciones de foami que me iban sobrando, las mezclé y obtuve un color gris con el cual hice unas bolitas como si fueran piedras en la entrada de la casa.
