Phaeoclavulina cyanocephala | 07 12 2024 | North Acèh Regency, Acèh, Indonesia |
I've never seen mushrooms with colors like this in person, so without thinking, I immediately took the camera and started taking photos. The light at that time was a bit dim because the field was surrounded by trees, so I used additional lighting to make the details more visible. When I looked closely, the lower part was paler, almost whitish, in sharp contrast to the brightly colored upper part.
After returning home, I tried to find out about this fungus, and it turned out its name was Phaeoclavulina cyanocephala. This mushroom belongs to the Ramaria group and is known for its distinctive blue-green color. It usually grows in soil rich in organic matter, such as fields or damp forests.
This finding is quite exciting because it is rare to see mushrooms with colors as cool as this. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I didn't have time to observe more or see how this mushroom changed over time. But this experience made me even more curious about the world of wild mushrooms, which is full of surprises.
