Friends, this caterpillar can be seen holding tightly to the leaf stalk of the plant, perhaps at that time the caterpillar was in the process of eating or resting after eating the leaf.

The bark-like color of its body and the yellowish-green patch on its head provide very effective camouflage among the dense foliage.

The characteristic of this neptis caterpillar is its soft, hairy body texture and elongated body shape, but at first glance it looks very scary.

Several observations that I read show that Neptis caterpillars will continue to develop before finally turning into chrysalises, then continuing their metamorphosis into beautiful butterflies.
