Today we will look at several macro portraits taken in the bush area located in Buket Rata Village, Lhokseumawe City, Aceh. This small animal is called Cixiidae, this animal belongs to the Fulgoroid or planthopper insect family. These insects are often referred to generally as planthoppers, and these small insects are similar to grasshoppers, but there are slight differences between Cixiidae and grasshoppers.
Cixiidae are insects that live in the ground or nest underground by making small places like caves that lead to plant roots. And these insects eat plant roots and also become pests by damaging foliage such as vine leaves and so on.

This insect has more than 2000 species and is distributed throughout the world. Cixiidae in various places or in various regions have different shapes and colors. The type of Cixiidae that I photographed has transparent wings and brown motifs all over its body.
