Nice catch. I only know this fish from books, never caught one. There are in the Czech Republic, but probably not in mass. Just like in Ukraine, they are introduced here. When I look on inaturalist they are very much in Prague and surroundings, there they are definitely released by aquarists.
I don't even know how it could have gotten to us, but lately we've been seeing it more and more often (though not in large numbers, of course). It's an invasive species in our country, but according to my friends, it's quite common in southern Ukraine. Also told a story that someone who wanted to grow fish for sale wanted to ruin this business and released this fish into the pond, and now there is an incredible amount of it in the pond.
