Holozing Forest healer Fanart

Holozing community has tons of cool characters and from 2 weeks i have been doing fanarts of them and this week im drawing one of my favorites Which is Forest healer.

If you know me you must know im a very nature kind of a person and greenery just soothes my inner soul so this particular character really looked nice to me.

About the character she has a clover drawn on her shirt and wears lab coat like a doctor she also had this necklace atound her neck with crystals and wears a wreath over her head and her hair arr Green , as well as her eyes.

First step to draw anything i just sketch it out roughly on my sketchbook. so i used loomis method to draw a 3/4 view face with my mechanical pencil as u can see in the first frame of the sketch next i made her hair long and flowy with braids and side bangs after that i made the wreath that was on her head next i sketched out the lab coat and the clover on the shirt and lastly o skektched her necklace with raw crystals too. After refining and erasing se parts i had my initial sketch ready.next to color the fan art up i just used my keep smiling 36 pan water color pallete to color it all up so i used a very light seagreen color gor her hair and parrot green for the ribbons and clover on her shirt. After that i colored her shirt a dull grey and her labcoats collar yellow . i also added some shadows to the labcoat cause all the folds andd creases will have slight shadows to them.

Now i had to color the skin for that i used a peach color followed my a red dilluted color to shade her cheeks and add shadow to her neck and nose then i used a red color to color her lips.

Thing about water coloring is that it often turns lighter as it dries out and that happened here too after the water colors dried i erased the pencil marks and outlined the whole thing with a black 0.5 fineliner pen.

because i love mixed media so much i will also used my Color pencils to add more color and texture to this here as u can see i added more shading to her nose and face so her face looks 3D . i also added 3 different shades of green to her hair to make them look more vibrant . Now i used a tangerine color to add some blush abd color to her lips and lastly i just added a blue background by water coloring and also shading it with a pencil color.

I really think using more than one art medium enhances the piece more and makes it unique.

Here is the finished Fanart of Forest healer. Comment down below how you feel about this. That's all for today.
