πŸ˜ƒ Once again we are faced with a new challenge, this time from our friends in the HOLOZING GAME COMMUNITY , is a Web3 enabled monster catching, training, and battling game. It draws strong inspiration from classics like PokΓ©mon and World of Warcraft,

The game has four unique elements that set it apart from similar games and other web3 games:

  • Players are not given much information about the monsters they encounter, requiring them to make mid-battle decisions. Players who take the time to watch for patterns, research, and diligently experiment will have an advantage.

  • The aspect of Healing and HP management is a central part of the PvE element of the game.
    The game’s economy and assets are backed by the robust Hive blockchain and ecosystem, enabling play-to-earn and play-to-own mechanics.

  • No team allocation, founder’s share, or pre-mine.

Well without further ado, I give you my participation for the contest and also the creative process I took to get to the final result, I found it a bit chaotic as I'm doing it at the last minute, it's Christmas and I just found out about the contest, what a dilemma.






This is the original image of the character I took to design the background, it's an electric type creature.

I first thought of using a ball of energy that could be thrown, but I still didn't know how to position the ground in relation to the rabbit, I didn't want something symmetrical or level, so I looked for other alternatives...

I centred the rabbit and drew 4 flashes emanating from it, these would be lightning bolts coming out of its body assuming it had an ability like: Thunder Wave or something like that.

I couldn't decide which one to choose, so I took the trouble to put the two concepts together; I was thinking that maybe the energy ball thrown by the electric rabbit wasn't such a good idea, as it was superimposed on the main character. Change of plans...

While I was thinking about the logic of the ball of energy, I was painting my background which was composed of several layers to give depth to the composition by varying the colours as the landscape moves away, I also added a small whirlwind of mystical dust, which is the footsteps of the rabbit as it jumps.

Saltando eh?.... bueno ...

I painted the central circle and designed it with an electric portal in mind, this rabbit would have the ability to teleport through these "tunnels/portals", it's a good argument and I took it consciously for this design. It's a good argument and I took it into consideration for this design. I also added more electric portals in the landscape.

After completing the idea of the electric tunnels, I took advantage of the original design of the character, he had a pose as if he had hit something, so I added some rocks in pieces. This made sense to my previous argument of the dusty trail I noticed in the distance, as this rabbit not only likes to jump but also likes to hit and smash like a small child, after all I would think that's his nature: restless and energetic.

Finally I had my composition ready but not without first passing a couple of filters to increase the tension of the scene, I joined all the layers of the painting and put them together, then I duplicated it and gave it a blur filter, then I enlarged the layer of this filter to obtain a centred blur, something subtle but interesting.
I also did the same procedure only adding the layer mode in "screen" to give more light to the rays.
Finally a couple of touches of colour to level and that's it, we have the final result gentita:

El juego tiene cuatro elementos ΓΊnicos que lo diferencian de otros juegos similares y de otros juegos web3:

Los jugadores no reciben mucha informaciΓ³n sobre los monstruos que encuentran, lo que les obliga a tomar decisiones en mitad de la batalla. Los jugadores que se tomen su tiempo para observar patrones, investigar y experimentar diligentemente tendrΓ‘n ventaja.

El aspecto de la curaciΓ³n y la gestiΓ³n de los PS es una parte central del elemento PvE del juego.
La economΓ­a y los activos del juego estΓ‘n respaldados por la robusta cadena de bloques y el ecosistema Hive, lo que permite la mecΓ‘nica de jugar para ganar y jugar para poseer.

Bueno sin mΓ‘s dilaciΓ³n, les entrego mi participaciΓ³n para el concurso y tambiΓ©n el proceso creativo que tome para llegar al resultado final, me resulto un poco caΓ³tico ya que lo estoy haciendo a ultima instancia, pues es Navidad y reciΓ©n me entero del concurso, valla dilema.






Esta es la imagen original del personaje que tome para diseΓ±ar el fondo, es una criatura tipo elΓ©ctrico.

PensΓ© primeramente en utilzar una bola de energΓ­a que pudiera ser lanzado, pero aΓΊn no sabia como posicionar el suelo respecto al conejo, no querΓ­a algo simΓ©trico o nivelado, asΓ­ que busque otras alternativas...

CentrΓ© el conejo y dibujΓ© 4 destellos que emanaban de Γ©l, estos serΓ­an rayos que salΓ­an de su cuerpo suponiendo que tuviera una habilidad como: Onda de trueno o algo parecido.

No decidΓ­a cual elegir asΓ­ que me tome la molestia de unir ambos conceptos; se me estaba pasando que tal vez la bola de energΓ­a que lanzaba el conejo electrico no era del todo una buena idea, ya que se superponΓ­a sobre el personaje principal. Cambio de planes...

Mientras iba pensando la lΓ³gica de la bola de energΓ­a, iba pintando mi fondo que se componΓ­a de varias capas para dar profundidad a la composiciΓ³n variando los colores conforme se aleja el paisaje, ademΓ‘s aΓ±adΓ­ un pequeΓ±o torbellino de polvo mΓ­stico , el cual se trata de las pisadas que da el conejo mientras va saltando.

Saltando eh?.... bueno ...

PintΓ© el circulo central y lo diseΓ±e pensando en un portal elΓ©ctrico, este conejo tendrΓ­a la capacidad de teletransportarse por medio de estos "tuneles/portales" , es un buen argumento y lo tomΓ© a conciencia para este diseΓ±o. Asimismo agreguΓ© mΓ‘s portales elΓ©ctricos en el paisaje

DespuΓ©s de completar la idea de los tuneles electricos, aprovechΓ© el diseΓ±o original del personaje, tenΓ­a una pose como de haber golpeado algo, asΓ­ que aΓ±adΓ­ unas rocas en pedazos. Esto daba sentido a mi argumento anterior del ratro de polvo que nota en lo lejos, ya que a este conejo no solo le gusta saltar sino que tambiΓ©n le gusta golpear y destrozar como si de un niΓ±o pequeΓ±o se tratase, despuΓ©s de todo creerΓ­a que esa es su naturaleza: Inquieto y enΓ©rgico.

Finalmente ya tenΓ­a lista mi composiciΓ³n pero no sin antes pasarle un par de filtros para aumentar la tensiΓ³n de la escena, juntΓ© todas las capas de la pintura y los juntΓ©, para luego duplicarlo y darle un filtro de desenfoque, luego agrandar la capa de este filtro y asΓ­ obtener un desenfoque centrado, algo sutil pero interesante.
AdemΓ‘s realicΓ© el mismo procedimiento solo que aΓ±adiendo el modo de capa en "screen" para dar mΓ‘s luz a los rayos.
Por ultimo un par de toques de color para nivelar y listo, tenemos el resultado final gentita:
