Greetings friends who love handicrafts! I welcome you to my Bricolaje DC Workshop. One of the things I love about Hive, is the way we interact with other users and the camaraderie we can form.

Such is the case with this post, which was born as a challenge from @lacochinaensalsa, who asked me to make my version of the forest healer earrings made by @julsdraws in her post. Of course I accepted the challenge and here I present to you my own version of Miu's dangling earrings for the Forest Healer.

For this work I used a set of stainless steel rings in small size, stainless steel chain with large links, 5 grams of cold porcelain mass, glue, cutting tweezers, watercolor, black gel pen tip 0.5 millimeter, green and pink brush tip marker, pin and needle, brush and resin.

¡Saludos amigos amantes de las artes manuales! Les doy la bienvenida a mi taller Bricolaje DC. Una de las cosas que amo de Hive, es la forma en que nos relacionamos con otros usuarios y la camaradería que podemos llegar a formar.

Es el caso de esta publicación, que nace como un reto de @lacochinaensalsa, quien me ha pedido que realice mi versión de los aretes de la sanadora del bosque que realizó @julsdraws en su publicación. Por supuesto que acepté el reto y aquí les presento mi propia versión de de los aretes colgantes de Miu para la Sanadora del bosque.

Para este trabajo utilicé un juego de argollas en acero inoxidable tamaño pequeño,cadena de acero inoxidable con eslabones grandes, 5 gramos de masa de porcelana fría, pegamento, pinza de corte, acuarela, bolígrafo de gel color negro punta 0.5 milímetro, marcador punta pincel color verde y rosa, alfiler y aguja, pincel y resina.

I started by cutting the chain to 3 links and leaving the one I cut to embed in the Miu.

Comencé cortando la cadena a 3 eslabones y dejando el que corté para incrustar en el Miu.

Then I took the porcelain dough and made 4 eyes, 2 noses, 4 ears and 4 paws.

Taking into account that each Miu measures 2 centimeters in diameter, these pieces were really small. I needed the help of a needle on the eyelet side (I thank my artisan friend who gave me the needle tip) to be able to hold the pieces and paint them.

Luego tomé la masa de porcelana y realicé 4 ojos, 2 narices, 4 orejas y 4 patitas.

Teniendo en cuenta que cada Miu mide 2 centímetros de diámetro estas piezas fueron realmente pequeñas. Necesite ayuda de una aguja por el lado del ojal (agradezco a mi amigo artesano que de dio el tip de la aguja) para poder sostener las piezas y así pintarlas.

Once these pieces were hardened, I made Miu's body and glued all the pieces together, including the chain at the top of the head.

Una vez endurecidas estas piezas, hice el cuerpo de Miu y pegué todas las piezas, incluyendo la cadena en la parte superior de la cabeza.

I really enjoyed making these dangle earrings and since I really like challenges, I challenge @dayadam to make her own version of these earrings designed by @julsdraws. I leave the image and the link attached in case anyone wants to join the challenge.
